Automne 2011

One plot with two houses, two families, two blind walls on each side and a crossing public path.

These houses, in concrete or in wood, are linked by a common buiding contain-ing offices where each fami-ly has its own working space.

This third building, in glass, creates both a separation and connexion between these the families.

ORIGAMI / WORKSHOP PARAMETRIQUE

Printemps 2012

After a time of research with Grasshooper, rhino and ex-perimental models, the goal was to imagine an interac-tive model.

City Zen ‘s intention is to create a temporary shelter which could be used every-where.

The shape of the origami unfolds as much as needed, until half a sphere to create an hermetic space.

After observing and inter-viewing inhabitants to un-derstand their urban per-ception, we have created tools based on the anamo-rphesis principle, “sectio-grams” and “cartograms”.

In these representations, the whole city is distorted ac-cording to each subject’s experience of its environ-ment.

I n v e n t i o n of a definition :

Neologism “Produced from an intense urbanization, even extreme, c h a r a c t e r i z e d by a combina-tion of density and diversity (human activities, infrastruc-ture, people ...) inducing a complex relationship be-tween humans and their en-vironment, between social and spatial. “

SALLE DE BAIN RECYCLEEHiver 2012

The green box is a module easily removable and trans-portable, made entirely of recycled materials.

It host a public bathroom with toilets and showers for cities in summer time.

1 VILLE / 1 PARCELLE / 3 ARCHITECTES

Printemps 2013

The first part of the pro-ject was the analysis of the “ZAC” (zone d ’ a m é n a g e m e n t concertée) of Bot-tières-Chénaie which is an area (one or several plots) where different architects and urban planners have to work together.

The second part led to the creation of dwellings in a dense plot shared with other students.

LOGEMENT / KURESSAARE / ESTONIE

Printemps 2014

Based on the analysis of Kuressaare, the aim was to deal with the problem of es-tonian shrinking cities.

The project is composed of the reorganization of a plot situated at a key location of the city. The program is constituted of a bus station, small business activities and housing (adapted to the estonian weather) of two types of appartments.

BUREAUX / STRASBOURG / FRANCE

Automne 2014

The project is composed of two monolithic volumes linked by a green court-yard. These two buildings are constituted of work spaces of two kinds: divid-ed offices or open space.

Boxes with meeting rooms create set of views be-tween the two blocs. These lasts are connected by their vertical circulations and by the public path cross-ing the vegetal innercourt.

BUREAUX BIOCLIMATIQUES EN SITE DENSE

Hiver 2014

This compact tower is the adaptation of the previous project DUEL into a very dense urban area.

The lower part hosts a big open space composed of a cafe, hanging meeting rooms and auditoriums. It is linked to upper floorswith offices by a vertical corecontaining stairs and lifts. The black building envelop is due to solar walls on the south façade.

As the theme of the Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB) was ‘Recycling Socialism’, the curators invited interna-tional architects to lead a workshop about an iconic piece of soviet architectural heritage.

Created in 2002 in the USA by the Department of Ener-gy, the Solar Decathlon is a competition uniting univer-sities from all over the world to design, build and operate a full-scale solar-powered house.

I have been part of the or-ganization of the last edition in 2014, as health and safety support, logistic coordinator and guide.
