‘St-University’ – Social Action Video My reason for following this production through is that I’m really wanting to give an understanding of other elements of University to students aged 17-18. I want to enlighten them on things other than tuition fees and high costs that the media persist on shoving in their faces. I will portray things such as social and night life, additional activities, opinions of existing and ex- university students etc. One main reason for choosing this topic is that there are plenty of students at The Henley College that get very lackadaisical when it comes to applying to university. By creating this video it will hopefully put the prospect of University in a new perspective of the eyes of students and hopefully encourage them to at least apply to a university. The production will last approximately 5 minutes. This will allow me time to include all my interviews, shots of The HENLEY College and archive footage. The people that will be interviewed for my video are: Sarah Wilson – The HENLEY College, Teacher Julian Brinsford – The HENLEY College, Teacher Zach Millward – The HENLEY College, Student Georgina Nelson – The HENLEY College, Student Ashley Davies – Ex-University Student Callum Parfitt – Student at Brighton University My production will filmed from the angle of the Students that attend The HENLEY College, Giving the audience a small insight to what life is like as a student. Also letting the audience see how students are constantly pounded by negative information concerning university.

‘St-University’ – Social Action Video

My reason for following this production through is that I’m really wanting to give an understanding of other elements of University to students aged 17-18. I want to enlighten them on things other than tuition fees and high costs that the media persist on shoving in their faces. I will portray things such as social and night life, additional activities, opinions of existing and ex-university students etc.

The people that will be interviewed for my video are: Sarah Wilson – The HENLEY College, Teacher Julian Brinsford – The HENLEY College, Teacher Zach Millward – The HENLEY College, Student Georgina Nelson – The HENLEY College, Student Ashley Davies – Ex-University Student Callum Parfitt – Student at Brighton University

My production will filmed from the angle of the Students that attend The HENLEY College, Giving the audience a small insight to what life is like as a student. Also letting the audience see how students are constantly pounded by negative information concerning university.

My video will start with a montage of news clips concerning university fees and extortionate costs. Then it will have it will have University students talking about the benefits of University and what’s good about it. Then I will have the interviews of The Henley College teachers explain why students should go. Finally I have a compilation of all the interviews all saying what a opportunity and experience University is.

My target audience is for students aged between 17-18 year olds. But also it will be good information for parents of students that have questions about University.

Once filmed and finalized, I will upload my video to YouTube. There it can be publically viewed via online social Medias such as Facebook and Twitter. I will also upload it to The HENLEY College website so that all the students at The HENLEY College can have easy access to it.
