1 New Priest and 3 New Deacons!

Manns mother and aunt were able to be pre-

sent at the ordination as well. Cardinal

George joined family and friends after the Or-dination Mass and greeted everyone.

Father Robin offered his First SolemnMass in the Extraordinary Form the followingday. As some parishioners observed it lookedlike he knew what he was doing. Duringthis past year in the seminary, Father DennisKolinski instructed our men in the sacred cere-monies and when our men returned to St.Johns, Father Bart Juncer and myself tooktime to further train our men.

Again I hope you enjoy this issue ofthe Via Sacra. Continue to pray for us and forvocations. At the end of June, three men willenter the Formation Program as Postulants.Father Dennis, Deacon Joshua, Deacon Kevinand myself are attending a conference in Romeon the Sacred Liturgy, Sacra Liturgia, to learn, discuss, and study the ways the Sacred Liturgyis bound up with the New Evangelization. We will carry all your intentions to the Tombof St. Peter.

FROMTHE DESKOFTHE SUPERIOROnce again we observe the great feast

of Pentecost and the close of the Paschal Sea-son. At this time of the year many parishesincluding our own celebrate the Sacrament ofConfirmation whereby those receiving this sac-rament are filled with the sevenfold gifts of theHoly Spirit. At the end of May we were blestby having Cardinal George ordain Robin Kwanto the Priesthood and Joshua Caswell, NathanCaswell and Kevin Mann to the Diaconate. Many of the photographs in this issue are of

the ordinations and I hope they bring you asmuch joy. The attendance at the Ordinationwas slightly over five hundred, consisting ofparishioners, friends of those ordained andtheir family members. It was a delightful sur-prise that Mr. and Mrs. Caswell were able to bewith their sons on the day of their ordinationfor they come from Northern Canada. FatherRobins parents and other family members

joined him in this great day and Deacon Kevin
