What is VeSafe?▸ A non- binding guideline to good practice for work related
vehicle risks
▸ VeSafe is an attractive resource of GP for drivers, employers and safety experts
▸ Aim: To improve occupational health and safety on all vehicle risk by sharing good practices
▸ VeSafe is a project from the EU Commission, DG employment
Background▸ The prime objective of the community strategy 2007-2012 was
the continued improvement of the health and safety of workers particularly in SMEs and high risk sectors through:
▸ Dissemination of good practices.▸ Distribution of information easy to understand.▸ Development of guidelines easy to understand and easy to put
into practice.

▸ The European Agency for Occupational Safety and Health will host the VeSafe guide in future.
