Verify Your Listings: Action Required

What is verification? •  Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email asking you

to complete phone verification with the subject line “Action Required”.

•  As part of the fulfillment process, Google+, Bing Local, Yahoo Local, and others require that you verify your business phone number.

Why is phone verification important? •  Phone-verified directories will not publish your business information until

they have been successfully verified.

Phone Verification Requirements •  In order to verify your listings you need to be at a computer and able to

answer your phone line.

How to complete phone verification: 1.  Visit www.verifymylistings.com, select your timezone, and set an appointment.

Simply visit verifymylistings.com to schedule a business listings verification appointment. Make sure to change the timezone to match the business location.

Verify Your Listings 2. At the time of your appointment, return to www.verifymylistings.com and

select the “If your appointment time is now click here” option.

After selecting “click here”, select the “Start Chat” button to begin your appointment.

Verify Your Listings Postcard Verification: If you are required to complete postcard verification,

you will be notified during your phone verification appointment. You may get a postcard from one of the following: Google +, Bing Local, Yahoo Local, or Foursquare.

How to complete postcard verification: 1.  A postcard will be triggered to your business address

2.  Postcards take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to arrive at the business address

3.  When you receive your postcard, email the verification code to collin@verifymylistings.com

4.  Once you have emailed your verification code, you have successfully completed postcard verification

●  Here is an example of a Google postcard. Bing, Yahoo, and Foursquare will look similar.

●  Please keep an eye out

for your postcard because it tends to look like junk mail

●  Verification Codes expire

30 days after they are triggered

●  Disregard the instructions

on the postcard, we will take care of it for you

●  Then email your verification

Directory Publishing Times Phone-Verified Directories - phone-verified directories such as

Google +, Bing Local, Yahoo, and others will not publish data without completing phone verification. Please allow two weeks after completing phone/postcard verification for the correct business information to publish

Non Phone-Verified Directories - directories that do not require

phone verification tend to publish successfully submitted data in about one week’s time. *Note: Please allow about one week for the correct business information to publish after you have completed your phone verification appointment.
