Dr. Patricia Pitsel is a Psychologist, Educator, and Human Resource professional.Prior to starting her own counselling and consulting business in 1982, Pat taughtin both the public and post-secondary systems in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Sheworked in Training and Organizational Development for the Alberta Government,and was Training Coordinator for Nova Corporation.

A chartered psychologist in the Province of Alberta [Canada]

M.Sc. Ed. in counselling from Fordham University in New York City

Ph.D. in counselling psychology from the University of Calgary.

Did you know nearly one in three amphibian species around the world is currentlythreatened with extinction, and that unfortunately Alberta is not immune to thiscrisis? Northern Leopard frogs were once common across the prairies but are nowthreatened in Alberta for reasons that are not well understood. Reintroductions ofnorthern leopard frogs back into their historical habitat may be one of their bestchances for survival. A drum circle is an opportunity to come together in a community of equals andplay a variety of drums, shakers, claves, and other percussions, in anuncomplicated yet cohesive way.
