VFXVENTURI FX

The Antec Controls Venturi FX is designed specifically for room pressure control and laboratory applications.

Paired with the maintenance-free, high accuracy Antec Controls Pressure Transducer (PTX) and an actuator,

the VFX achieves precise airflow measurement and control for critical environments.

During operation, the Venturi FX measures flow using ports installed non-invasive to the airflow stream, greatly

reducing the risk of lint or other airborne particulates interfering with the control or accuracy of the valve. In

addition, the Venturi FX will operate at low pressure drop while achieving a 10:1 turndown ratio. Each valve is

factory verified on NVLAP accredited airflow calibration stations (NVLAP Lab Code 201067-0 complying with

ISO/IEC 17025:2005) using N.I.S.T traceable equipment to ensure dependable and repeatable valve accuracy.

PRESSURE TRANSDUCER (PTX)The Antec Controls Pressure Transducer (PTX) is a compact

differential pressure output module that utilizes a high accuracy

sensor for measuring pressure. The flow-through, non-

invasive digital sensor allows for maintenance-free pressure

measurement. This device is used with the innovative Antec

Controls flow measuring station that is the least susceptible to

contamination in the market.

PROTECTIVE COATINGSDepending on the application, various coatings can

be applied to protect the operation of the valve.

Aluminum Aluminum valves are used in clean air or non-

corrosive applications. Features include:

+ Galvanized steel damper with teflon gasket and zinc-plated damper shaft

+ Stainless steel pressure sensor ports and internal hardware

Phenolic Coating – Class 1Most fume hoods require a class 1 phenolic

coating.
