2014 - Ventsim™ Visual License Maintenance Extension

Thank you for extending your Ventsim™ Visual Maintenance

You now have access to continued upgrades and prompt technical support for your Ventsim™ license. By purchasing Ventsim™ Visual maintenance, you ensure the software continues to be improved and developed with new cutting edge features and functions. Once activated, extended maintenance will inform the user (if connected to the internet) when new software versions are available, and offer to install the latest updates.

Activating your extended maintenance:

1. If you have an internet based server license, activating your extended maintenance is easy.

a. Simply run Ventsim™ Visual, go to the FILE > LICENSE MANAGER.

b. Click on the RELEASE button.

c. Then click on the ACTIVATE button.

d. Your new maintenance period is now active.

2. If you have a USB based license, follow these steps

a. To install this version, download from the web site www.ventsim.com/files/vvsetup3.exe

b. When run, the program will warn the maintenance period has expired and enter the Viewer Mode.

c. Insert the USB and run Ventsim™ Visual, then go to the FILE > LICENSE MANAGER

d. Click on the menu FILE > UPDATE USB LICENSE.

e. Your new maintenance period should be activated on the USB.

f. Close the program, and restart Ventsim™ Visual.

3. Once activated, the program will check for available updates on the web server.

4. If updates are available, a notification message will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.

5. Click on the notification message to display the available updates and install the new versions.
