Summary of Projects

1. Erection of 230KV switchyard for 2x80MW coal based power plant.Client :( ALSTOM M/s SURYADEV ALLOYS & POWER PVT LTD)

2. Erection of 230KV & 400KV Isolator In switchyard for 2x600MW coal based power plant.Client :( LANCO M/s UDUPI POWER CORPORATION LIMITED)

3. Erection of 110KV switchyard for 1x30MW coal based power plant.Client :( SCHNEIDER M/s CHETTINAD CEMENT CORPORATION LIMITED)

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Erection of towers, beams, equipment structures, Earthing of structures and equipment’s, Monitoring of Power and Control cable, High frequency cable laying and termination.

Involved in Erection & Commissioning of 230 kV & 110 kV Switchyard equipment’s Power transformers up to 100 MVA, NGR panels, Nitrogen firefighting system, SF6 Circuit breaker, Current transformers, Potential transformer, Capacitive voltage transformer, Isolators, & Lightning arrestors.

Erection of Control and Relay panels, RTCC panels, Marshalling box, ACDB, DCDB, 220 V and 48 V Battery charger, Fire fighting system cabinet and pipe line laying.

Assessment of High risk work activities and following EHS rules.

Preparation of Joint measurements with customer and billing.

Scheduling the work in accordance to the project timeline and ensured that all the deadlines are met.

Coordinating with the consultants, architects and clients and informed them of the progress of the project.

Maintaining the quality and safety measures at the site.

Verifying all the materials used for the Erection and ensuring Quality control regulations are met.

Preparing Technical documents and ensuring the work is carried in accordance to drawings and specifications.

Documenting the work progress at site and assisting the client for Inspection,

Tracking project progress & implementation of QA/QC Safety & Environment procedures as per norms and standards.

Coordination with testing and commissioning activities.

Major role playing for plan and execution for turnkey power plant project involving design coordination, power distribution works (involving transformers, HT & LT Switchgear with cabling scheme & execution)

Logic and scheme studying of Control & Relay Panels for Automation of Switchyard (SAS). Cable laying from Inverter to Distribution Transformer and to Switchyard with testing &

commissioning Also supervision of civil works like inverter buildings, control buildings, equipment foundation, and

underground cable trench works.

Job Role in Operation & Maintenance:-

Summary of Projects

1. Operation and Maintenance of CHP & AHP for 4x135MW coal based power plant. Client :( WARADHA POWER COMPANY LIMITED, WARRORA, MAHARASTRA)

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Primarily having experience on Troubleshooting of Motors, Preventive, Breakdown, Corrective & Primitive Maintenance of Indian & Chinese makes Feeders & Motors (LT & HT).

Maintenance of Distribution Transformers (Rating: 2500 KVA, 7500KVA, 11KV/ 6.6 KV/415V). H.T motor (Rating up to: 360 KW, 11KV/6.6KV)&L.T motor (Rating up to: 150 KW). Maintenance of Starters (D.O.L, R.D.O.L & STAR-DELTA). Maintenance & Trouble shooting of specialized equipment’s like VFDs (up to 200 KW). Maintenance of ACB & VCB Breakers and Line CT’s& PT and Capacitor Bank. All industrial lighting maintenance (up to 1000W). Handling responsibilities of shift activities & Man-Power Management. Secondarily having an experience of analyzing records of various parameters of HT & LT motors,

Transformers & Incomers with high efficient documentations. Having experience in maintaining IFS, SAP, & MIS (Management Intelligence Software). Prepare of preventive maintenance schedule and check list and Monthly report and defect report. Preparation of technical report, documentations and work plan for maintenance activities. In addition, have an ample of knowledge on motor Overhauling of LT motors & Vibrators, coil

rewinding.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Electrical Maintenance for Distribution Transformer – RMU (Ring Main Unit) – 11kV MV Switchgear panel – Power Transformer.

Maintenance of HT & LT Panels. Operation and Maintenance of UPS Systems. Maintenance of Battery Charger & Batteries. Fire Alarm Monitoring & Public Addressing System Control. CCTV Monitoring & DVR Monitoring. EB communications with the approval of client

Managing regular preventive maintenance.

Monitor PAC, UPS, AC, PA system, ACCESS System, CCTV, WLDA, GSS, VESDA, and Fire

Alarm System on Daily basis.

1st level support to be given by BMS staff and the same to be captured in Daily report.

Log call with vendor for 2nd level support.

Vendor to be followed and call to be completed on NBD.

Any call going beyond NBD to be highlighted to Client.

Continuous follow up to be done on daily basis till call closure.

PM activity to be done on the scheduled date. Any lapse to be highlighted to Client.
