Vendee 2020 Vision is a shared vision borne out of a long term working relationship with Artemis Investment Management LLP. It's objective is to achieve the rightful top spot on the podium for a Briton in the Vendee Globe.

British representation in the sport has dwindled in the last decade. We have the talent and the expertise but representation in the sport is wholly dependant upon commercial partnership.

WHILST BRITAIN HAS A FINE HISTORY IN SOLO OCEAN RACING, NO BRITISH SAILOR HAS WON THE ULTIMATE PRIZE, THE VENDEE GLOBE.Whitecap, with the support of Artemis Investment Management, has designed and implemented a unique, British solo ocean racing development and evaluation platform.

The initiative provides support to British talent in their pursuit of victory in the Vendee Globe.

We are working with 10 sailors; the best of British Ocean Racing talent, who have graduated from the Artemis Offshore Academy. To ensure their future success, they need to be competitive at sea, confident in the boardroom and compelling on camera.

For the first time in the history of British sailing, Vendee 2020 Vision provides an unprecedented training and evaluation programme on board an Open 60 racing yacht. In addition, the sailors are supported through commercial, physical and psychological training and evaluation.

Further to the training and evaluation, Vendee 2020 Vision provides would be partners with a turnkey investment opportunity, a scalable sports marketing platform, already on the water and significantly invested in.

We have selected 10 of Britain’s rising stars in offshore sailing, who have all graduated from the Artemis offshore sailing academy. Vendee 2020 Vision is designed to further develop and support this talent to achieve British ascendancy in solo ocean racing.
