  • AISSE Results 2018-19 When compared to yester years the Board result of 2018-19 is quite satisfactory as 204 students of

    class X who attended the Board Exam passed out with flying colours attaining a pass percentage of

    100.

    First Day to School for LKG students The first day of school is a mixture of excitement and anxiety not only for a child but also for the

    parents and grandparents accompanying their wards to the school. The day marks the beginning of the

    most important phase of a child's life.

    The first day of the school is made memorable for the kids in V.P.S. The classrooms and the play area

    made them fully active .The total strength of tiny tots who entered the world of learning are 208 on

    19th Jun,2019.The teaching and learning experiences have really started on the first step when they

    set their foot in our kindergarten building. A greeting, a smile and a touch and a hug really help the

    children feel that they have a naval connection with all the surroundings and teachers.

  • Ugadi: Regional New Year (6th Jun) The word Ugadi is derived from two

    different words; ‘Yuga’ means ‘age’,

    and ‘Adi’ that means ‘beginning in

    Sanskrit. The auspicious day was

    celebrated in a pious way. The

    happiness of this festival was

    spread in the V.P.S Public school

    kids. The children presented speeches,

    songs and dance to gear up a new hope

    and enthusiasm for the best to occur

    in everyone`s life.

    International Yoga Day (21st Jun) Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient

    tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body;

    thought and action; restraint and fulfillment;

    harmony between man and nature; a holistic

    approach to health and well being. Keeping in mind,

    the significance of yoga, this year too

    subjects pertaining to AIR NCC such as principles of flight, Aero engine, Air craft’s recognition, Aero

    modeling, general service knowledge and general service training.

    Ms G.Sreshta Ananya participated in 5th AP Sub

    Junior &Junior Inter District Aquatic Championship-

    2019 at Vishakhapatnam on 26th & 27th May and

    secured 1st place in 50 mts Butterfly and

    800 mts Freestyle. She bagged 3rd place in 200 mts

    Freestyle and in 200 mts Individual medley.

    Ms Paladugu Huthika participated in

    Indian Oil AP State Mini Badminton

    Championship-2019 from 6th to 9th

    June at JBS Badminton Academy,

    Vijayawada and secured 3rd place in

    the event of under-12 doubles

    and in Midtown Badminton

    League-2019 in June and secured

    1st place in under-13 doubles and

    2nd place in under-17 doubles.

    Ms Paladugu Huthika got selected to participate in both singles and doubles, under-12 at AP

    State Mini Badminton District Selections-2019 conducted on 3rd Jun at Pro Shuttle

    Badminton Academy, Tadepalli.

    Ms Kongara Rishika participated in 1st AP Sub Junior & senior Ranking Badminton tournament-

    2019 and secured runners up in under-17 doubles conducted at Pro Shuttle Badminton

    Academy, Tadepalli.

    Ms Vemuri Sai Akshara participated in the 64th National School Games-2019, Archery Girls

    under-14 and secured third place in Recurve round achieving 3147 points.

  • Primary and Secondary Assembly Proceedings Primary assembly proceedings go ahead with a theme starting with a prayer and children are educated

    both soulfully with educative values. The children head towards the huge peepal tree for the daily

    invocation with their leaders and the class teachers.

    Secondary assembly proceedings take place behind the main building starting with a prayer, followed

    by the News headlines, speech, thought for the day, birthday wishes and National Anthem. Every

    Tuesday the entire proceedings are conducted in Hindi and on Saturdays in Telugu. Prize distribution

    is done on Fridays.
