TCS provides end-to-end infrastructure solutions for Kimberly Clark with a comprehensive set of offerings which help Kimberly Clark to extract enhanced value and business effectiveness from their IT investments.My role as a MQ Administrator in the project was to perform MQ Administration tasks in MQ Test, System Test, Quality and Production Environments on multiple platforms (Windows, Unix and Mainframe) and provide 24/7 support for the various applications running in KC Environment, handling the day to day On call requests, Mail box requests, handling problem tickets and solution for the system and application problems.

Role Description: Websphere MQ Series Administrator Responsible for

Installation, Maintenance and Upgrade of MQ in Test, System Test, Quality and Production Environments.

Installation and Maintenance of Special and Third party vendor tools used for MQ. Implement, install, and configure new MQ Series managers. Maintain existing MQ Series managers, performing activities that include software upgrades,

monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, problem resolution and providing general MQ Series product support.

Assist application development team with design of landscape and MQI related troubleshooting. BCP and Disaster recovery of MQ Environment.

Major Activities

Upgrading of Queue managers from MQ V 5.3 to Web sphere MQ V 6. 0 on all the three platforms.
