Also ensure that your dog doesn’t lick or chew it, wash your hands each time you touch it. It also can’t be used if your dog is pregnant, nursing or less than three months old. A de-shedding brush helps avoid tangles, detect signs of infection and prevent excess hair-loss to prevent dehydration. Go for a slicker brush if you have a long-haired dog and pin or rubber brushes for mid-length or short-haired dogs. For cats, bristle brushes are best Keeping your pet clean and cool is very important in summer, but that’s difficult as it hates baths.
