Beginning of the seventiesGraessner set a standard withthe cubic Universal gearbox,with ratios up to 5:1 and allfaces machined.
Mid of the seventies theHypoid range was introduced.Ratios up to 10:1 in a singlestage were a sensation at thattime and are still extraordinarytoday.
Beginning of the eightiesGraessner presented thePowerGear right angle gear-box, with a performancedensity not beaten up to date.A specific developed gearingallows highest torque atextreme small dimensions.
Mid of the eighties Graessnerpresented with the BevelHelical gearbox again anovelty. Ratios up to 50:1 inonly 2 stages, combined withextreme high torque and abacklash < 5 arcmin, were and are partly still unbeaten.
Based on quality and extraor-dinary reliability Graessnerproducts proved their excep-tional performance in all indus-trial branches in any kind ofapplication. This could only be achieved, by having thenecessary core competencewithin the company.
Since mid of the fiftiesGraessner manufactures Spiraland Hypoid bevel gears onGleason gear cutters. Qualityand customer orientation, com-bined with many years of experi-ence, proved the reputation, thatGreassner gear sets are used inapplications, where performance
and reliability is dominating.

Reverse Gear Boxes allow an additional change of therotation direction.
