Irri-Gator Products imports and distributes the Senlan SB200 series variable speed drive range which we incorporate into our custom built panels to meet any pumping application in irrigation.

F e a t u r e s & B e n e f i t s

Senlan SB200 Series high performance general purpose inverter range is ideally suited for irrigation pumps and other machinery where variable torques loads are the norm. Available in a power range of 1,5 to 400 kilowatt using a 400VAC 3 Phase 50Hz power source, the SB200 range will cover most water pumping applications in the Irrigation industry. Easy programmable steps make for simple programming.

Single Pump Application:A single pump can be controlled according to speed, flow or pressure. For pressure control a pressure transducer (available in various pressure ranges) with a 4-20 milliamp output is utilized on the discharge of the pump. For flow control applications a standard flow meter with an EPC output or a flow meter with analogue output can be utilized. Multiple set-points can be fitted to allow for different operating regimes thus unlocking optimal energy utilization by the pump.

Multi Pump Applications:Two or more pumps can operate in parallel or series and be controlled by speed, pressure or flow. Various solutions can be adopted to meet multi pump type applications - • Master drive on a primary pump with other starter systems such as soft starters or star delta starters used

on the other pumps.• Drives can be installed on all pumps with one drive acting as the primary drive in the system which passes

on the speed requirements to all the other pumps in the system.• Drives can be installed on all pumps in the system and our flexible range of programmable logic

controllers can be adopted to carry out the management functions of the pumps including, PID control, speed control of each drive, cascade functions (call on and off of pumps as needed), duty cycling and other processes.

Submersible Pump Applications: VSD’s are essential for controlling submersible pumps in boreholes where the underground water level constantly fluctuates. The drive can again be controlled by speed, pressure or flow allowing for the optimal use of power by the pump. Advanced motor protection features are offered by the drive to provide protection of the motor.

Solar Powered (PV) or Solar Assist Applications: The SB200 range of drives can also be powered directly from a solar photo voltaic system or make used of both grid and solar power sources. Solar pumping systems are ideal where no grid is available making use of renewable energy rather than power sources such as diesel generators. In solar assist applications, solar power can be added to the system on a modular basis thereby reducing the energy drawn from the grid.
