Valve Graphics (cont)
Similarities to Pipe class requirements seem to indicate that maybe “EndStyle”, “PipeSection”, “Flange” and other things may be better implemented as independent classes, rather than helper classes of a specific class. Not sure…
Alternative thought is that a Valve is really at its core a 2-point pipe that has the middle section (valve housing / stem) “overlayed” ontop of the pipe section.

Pump Graphics
• Difficult to generalize into a drawing class like “Pipe” or “Valve” or “Tank”
• Will benefit from a new pipe end style - rounded
• Pump graphics are most likely best handled as static bitmaps or metafiles – StaticGraphics class
• Create a standard “library” of graphics for people to use.

More Pipe Styles – BumpUp/BumpDown
BumpUp1. Render “Down”
section
2. Render “Up” section
3. Render semi-circle
Will look stupid for ConcentricPipe Class without
special treatment.(Should not be used for coils)
