the challenge to develop and create arresting lighting fixtures as those originally conceived in antique bronze and porcelain. the new concept needed to have a luxurious appearance and warm illumination, but with a smaller price tag.

the solution the design firm turned to 3form light Art to create the circular centerpieces from 3form Varia ecoresin. the lightweight material was a significant cost savings, yet still maintained the high-end aesthetic of the sophisticated new York eatery. 3form light Art provided a complete solution equipped with installation hardware and all lighting components — saving the owners time and reducing the overall cost by half.

the challenge Create a large iconic red entryway feature for $10,000, including crating and shipping.

the solution 3form light Art created a custom piece while meeting the client’s tight budget. Designers used the thinnest material possible to save on material cost and enable cold-bending, producing an airy aesthetic to give the illusion of fullness, but actually required less material.

the challenge FFKr wanted to create a clean and modern feature wall for the premium mangosteen beverage company headquarters.

the solution Designers with FFKr Architects chose 3form Wovin Wall, a reasonably priced product relative to its big impact. specified in white laminate, the wall added texture and depth to the signature white interior. With a dynamic color changing leD light installation, the feature changes color, adding another layer of interest. Installed in less than one day – Wovin Wall contributed to an overall cost reduction for Xango. Additionally, the modular system allows for easy maintenance for the high traffic lobby. In addition, FFKr was able to specify Chroma® fabricated counters in corporate colors making 3form a one-stop shop for this contemporary project.

the challenge the designers were challenged to create a grand interior lobby for a residential condo development, without the grand price tag.

the solution the team chose 3form Alabaster. With an opulent translucent glow, the stone became the stunning focal point in the lobby. the product was a significant cost saving over real onyx stone and a true value relative to its impact in the space. the material also proved easier to work with onsite and easier to install than the originally conceived onyx – which increased the cost savings overall.

the challenge to redesign a drab corporate lobby for high design impact with minimal installation.

the solution the rachel Cass – Hendrick design team conceptualized an entrance with immediate impact for visitors to the corporate lobby. their plan would invigorate the entrance with the same vibrancy and energy as the Google brand colors. Designers chose 3form Chroma for its eye-catching luminous color quality. From a palette of 30 contemporary colors, the team was able to find matches to the Google blue, red, green and yellow. the team designed a suspended ceiling feature utilizing the colorful material cut into 48 inch diameter circles, supported with 3form Variable Angle standoff Hardware. this easy-to-specify, easy-to-install ceiling solution created a captivating installation.

the challenge Create an intriguing focal point for the interior lobby of the W Hotel in Atlanta. the design concept–a dynamic illuminated installation–required a lightweight translucent material

the solution Fruchtman chose 3form Pep for the semi-transparent centerpiece. As an alternative to glass, the material saved on construction and installation. Pep is lightweight and engineered for minimal deflection in vertical applications. therefore, the installation required no supportive structure and minimal 3form point supports.
