and we won the den building contest.
Although not all of them I enjoyed like the maths
we had to do, we had to measure the perimeter
of a leaf and it was boring.

Jamie’s Memories
My 4 very best friends are Tye,
Ryan, Oscar and Michael
My funniest playtime memory
was when I was outside with Tye
and Oscar, Oscar was running
away from us saying “HA HA, IM
FASTER THAN YOUUUU” and then
he turned his head back around
and ended up flipping on to his
back into a mud pile XD.
In year 3 my most favourite and
funniest moment was when I was
with Tye and some other friends
and there was this stage on the
playground and we made a whole
band it was so cool and funny so
this was my most favourite
moment in year 3.
My most funniest moment in year
4 was when it was odd sock day
and I forgot, I got to school and
thought every one was crazy
wearing all these weird rainbow
socks up to their knees but at the
end of the day, I realised I had odd
socks on myself
My favourite memory in year
6 was greek day, I dressed up
as a roman and I had a spear,
sword and shield. I also really
liked the squid and the greek
cheese.
![Page 9: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
I haven’t really got a
memory of year five but I
do remember having a
party with my friend Oscar
before he left this school.
My most improved
skill is my creativity
and writing, I can write
a lot quicker and my
imagination in stories
is never-ending.
My favourite lesson by far, is definitely English as you can
tell from my skill box I love making poems and stories and
my imagination is like someone telling me a whole page of
of a book.
![Page 10: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
I am really looking
forward to going to
secondary school as
I have a lot more
friends there that I
have missed and I
can’t wait to see
what it’s like!
One thing I want to
keep practising is
concentration, this
is because I would
do so much better in
my work if I didn’t
look anywhere else
but at my work.
I really hope we learn
about the
atmosphere outside
earth and more
about how oxygen is made.
I don’t have any
questions for next
year, I am confident
and I think I know
what I need to do
and follow anyway.
Looking ahead

Amber’s Memories
Me and my friends first time meeting each other:
At first we were all very shy but after we talked for a while
we knew we would all become best friends. We were all
together in the same class for seven years but sadly we
were split into different classes. Luckily that didn’t stop us
because we are all going to Lode Heath!!!
My favourite playtime
memory
Me and all my friends play
different games all the time I
would say every time we play
a game it is funny because we
put a twist on every game.
Memory of year 3
In year 3 me and my class went to
Brandon Marsh to find and
discover all the wild life there.
Another memory in year 3 is that
we did a lot of fun and exciting
things with a really good teacher
( Miss Propert ) .
Memory of year 4
I learnt a lot in year 4
interesting history facts and a
lot about fractions. Also I had
a great teacher and English
teacher ( Mrs Adams and
Miss Court ) .
Favourite moment at school.
My favourite moment at school is
all of it. Thanks to school I have
made all of my amazing friends ,
had great teachers and most of
all it has helped me to mature.
![Page 14: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Memory of year 5
In year 5 we all welcomed a
new teacher to our school
(Miss Taylor) and she was

and interesting things in
year 5 and it was really good

Most improved skill
My most improved skill is my

![Page 15: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
I am looking forward to…
Having a new fresh start
and also making new
friends because it is
always nice to meet new
people and become
friends with them. I am
also looking forward to
having a new change and
going to different classes
each lesson.
One thing I want to keep practising is…
My science and my
English because I feel
like if I practise more
than I will be able to
achieve better in
both of those lessons.
Also to just be myself
at Lode Heath.
I really hope we learn about…
How to cook and to learn
about more history
lessons like World War 1
and 2. The reason why I
want to learn these is
because they are both
very interesting. Also I
love to bake and cook so
it would be good to do
things that involve that.
Questions I have about next year
are…
Is it confusing getting
around the school and
going to different classes?
How do you remember all
your teachers names? How
do you get credits and
debits? How would you
know which classrooms to
go into?
Looking ahead
Hopefully I get to make some new friends and to have some nice teachers.

the rope we played. This game called woneses
and another game with the skipping rope it was

doing the wonesess . The way you play wonesess
is you take it in turns to jump in the rope.

that when we were eating our lunch it started to
rain because we were eating outside .

fun when we went to Warwick Castle because we
got to go in the castle and see what it was like we
also went in the time tower and they made it all
3d it was really cool. When we had guitar lessons
it was really cool because I had never played
guitar before. Then when I went to year five I
carried on with guitar. Year 4 was a really fun

The memory of year 3 was fun we had this like

also used that area for home time. Year 3 was
really fun because we had golden time that was
like a break on Friday afternoon and we had raffle
tickets that if you were good you would get a
raffle and then at the end of the week on Friday
we would randomly pick out the winner! We also
had golden tickets that you would get if you were
in the gold zone on the zone board on a Friday
afternoon but you had to push and wait to get to
the prizes in the hall.

Castle it was raining and cold though but
there was a bird show there and we went up

junior school but because its so hard we get loads
of breaks and adventures. We went to London for
the day but we can’t go on the big 3 days camping
trip!

Robyn’s Memories
My favourite playtime
memory.
Me and Selena were digging up a
big rock that we called the
charcoal. We had been digging
with other, smaller rocks and
sticks for months and then we
finally got it out! When we turned
it over it had crystal-like black
things on it, we didn’t want
anyone to find it so we hid it in a
nearby bush and eventually forgot
about it. Years later, we were
litter-picking with Millie, Amber,
Dakota and Selena. While picking,
we decided to clean the same
bush. While picking, we found the
rock and it was just a really nice
flashback to before.
Memory of year 3.

Hayden’s Memories
In year 4 me and my friends where playing tennis and we got a bit bored of just playing normal
games so we decided to see who could bounce the ball on their raket the most. Lelan went up first
and got 20 points. Next up was me I wasn’t very good at it but I gave it a try anyway I got 15 which
was a personal record for me I may not have won but I had achieved something. Next up was
Keaton who I know was very good at this scoring 22 points to put him in the lead. Last but not least
was Lewis he needed 23 points or more to win so he went to do it and he scored 22 points but
suddenly the bell rang we had to wait in till tomorrow. The next day had finally arrived first up was
Keaton scoring only 1 as he messed up with his control all Lewis had to do was score 2 points or
more which he did he got an amazing 10 to win we didn’t see this coming.
We were playing football and we were 2-0
down not long left of lunch so first Lewis
scores to make it 2-1 so this means we still
have hope about 5 minutes left of lunch we
have a free kick Ryle faking to take the free
kick Lewis comes from behind and takes it
and it goes into the top corner making the
score 2-2. With about 1 minute left there was
still time for a winner Lewis plays a free ball
to Lelan and finishes it into the bottom
corner we had won the match.2-3 the bell
had went and we had won.
We were on the Brandon Marsh trip there
was so many actives and one of them was
catching little creatures as we were doing that
it was my turn to do it I had put the bucket in
the water and then I got the bucket out to
see I had caught a very weird creature it
wasn’t even on the list I was shocked to see it
but proud because I had caught it.
It was the day of the cricket tournament and I was not the best at cricket but I was still
willing to play.

Favourite lesson
One of my favourite lessons was about the heart
and we were given lamb hearts and we had gloves
and scissors and you had to open up the heart and
look at the inside of it, some people felt sick
looking at it some people like me liked opening up
the heart and looking at it.

Trips I have been on
I have been on quite a few trips in my life
I’ve been to Breen about 4 or 5 times I have
been to London on a school trip I have been
to Warwick castle I have also gone been to
Blackpool. I have had some fun experiences
when I have been on school trips or holiday
with my family. When year 6 went to
London we had about a 2hour drive on the
coach but it was really fun because we kept
talking on the coach then when we got to
London we when to a museum about
ancient Egypt and it was quite good until
we saw a massive statue of Tutankhamun
and because it was from all then years ago
it was basically half broken. I found it really
cool to see a statue of an Egyptian king that
was built many years ago.
Most improved skill
I think two of my most improved skills
are my handwriting and football
because when I started school my
handwriting was quite bad until up to
year 5 it was still a bit bad but in year
six for me my handwriting has
improved a lot and so has my football

out field to play on the wings witch is in
the middle of the field but just a bit
more up and out wide now I score at
least one goal every game.

The London trip was my favourite trip because we stayed up really late and got to sleep
on the coach. We did a load of fun stuff but my favourite would have to be the Rainforest

I loved the night sky there was because it looked so cool. We sat next to a fish tank and
me, Daniel, Nick, Lola, Niamh and Ava were on the same table and we laughed a lot. It was

Valley Primary School
Class of 2020
Poppy-Li’s Memories
My friends first time meeting me!!!
When I first came into the school I didn’t really know anyone or have
any friends but when I first got into year 3 I made a lot of friends
and everyone was really nice to me. My best friends were, Anniyah,
Aalyiah, Charlie-Mai, Neve because Neve was the only girl I knew
before I started making friends. My friends that I met in year 3 I
stayed with and we were really good friends with until we left the
school.
My favourite play time
memories.
My favourite play time was
when I made up this new game
with Charlie-Mai and we
played it with Aalyiah and
Annyiah. I liked this because
we were playing and Aalyiah
fell. It was funny.
Memories of sports.
In year 6 I joined a lot of after
school clubs like football,
basketball and netball. After a
couple of weeks in I started
playing for the team against
other schools and I became
really good at it.
Memories of year 4
My favourite memories of year
4 was when we went to
Warwick Castle. It was really
fun because it was raining and
the whole year group went. It
was one of the best school
trips we had.
Favourite school picture.
My favourite school picture
was when we were all in
London and we all had a
picture of the whole year group
in front of Buckingham Palace
which we were not meant to go
to but we did that’s why it was
fun.
![Page 83: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/83.jpg)
Memory of year 5.
The best day of year 5 was
when we dressed up as Rock
Stars. We played games all
day. It was fun because
everyone was dressed up as
Rock Stars and everyone had
fun. The best day of year 5.
Memory of year 6.
My favourite memory of year 6
was when we did the house
point day because red won and
I was in red. I got to come in
own clothes, no work and go
outside all afternoon. That was
a really good day.
Favourite memory picture
Trips we I have been on.
In year 4 we went to Warwick
Castle. It was a really good trip
I think what made it better was
the rain because it was more
fun.
Another trip was when we
went to the park in year 5. It
was fun we went into the
playground and had lots of fun.
The best trip in year 6 was
when we went to London. The
coach was 3 hours long but
worth it. It was fun, we had
dinner there and visited lots of
amazing places like
Buckingham Palace and the
Saatchi Gallery.
Most improved skill.
At first I wasn’t good a
fractions but since I learnt it
and went over it, that helped
because now I’m am a lot
better at fractions. I still need a
little work on fractions but I
know a bit and it’s more than I
knew before.
My favourite lesson.
My first favourite subject was topic because it’s like history and I
love learning about history. My second favourite lesson was
English because I’m good at writing and I understand it. My third
was Art on a Thursday because I really like it, it’s really fun.
![Page 84: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/84.jpg)
I am looking forward to…
I am really looking forward
to going to secondary school
and doing well. I’m also
looking forward to being able
to do well so that the
goodness I do in secondary
school will have a big impact
on my future.
I am also looking forward to
seeing what I got on my SATs
to see if I did good or to see
if I did bad.
One thing I want to keep working
on is…
The thing I want to keep working
on is my Maths because I feel
like I’ve become a lot better at it
but I still need to work on my
fractions and decimals and a lot
more Math things. I’m really
good at adding, the time,
subtraction and some more but I
feel like I need way more work
and a recap on them.
And I think that my spellings
could use another recap too.
I really hope we learn about…
I hope we learn about the
world wars or things about
millions of years ago
because I have always loved
learning about things from
ages ago and things that
everyone can have a debate
on. I’ve always wanted to
learn about the world wars
because I find them
interesting and I have always
wanted to learn more about
Egypt too (with the
mummies)
Questions I have about next
year are …
I only really have one question
about next year that is because
we missed out on manor
adventure and our end of
school disco. Would we be able
to have that once everything
has gone back to normal?
One more question is:
Will we get to bring our books
home, bring our English, Maths
and other books home with us?
What I’ve improved on…
I’ve improved on my Maths by a far amount.
![Page 85: Valley Primary School Class of 2020 Aaliyah ’s Memories · My favourite playtime memory My favourite play time was when Cater, Leilan and some others were just Naruto running around](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022042413/5f2d5ab093dca83e4d1f1386/html5/thumbnails/85.jpg)

When we went to London, it was probably the
best trip I’ve ever had and the best memory of

with them then.

go out and eat at breaks and lunchtime?

percentages and multiplication so I don’t forget
anything. I want to be able to answer them faster
and practise with bigger numbers.
I really hope we learn about…

Nahima’s Memories
Me and my friends
I remember when we were in year 4 we had to draw ourselves as
superheroes. This was the first day in my year 4 classroom. I drew
myself as a superhero and remember thinking it was my best
drawing. Looking back at it, I wasn’t really that good at drawing.
Christmas Memory at school
Me and my friends did a Secret
Santa where we bought presents
and gave them at school to each
other. At the time we were doing
the year 3 bookshelves and we
opened our gifts then. 5 people
took part.
Memory of year 3
A good memory of year 3 was when we went
swimming and it was our last lesson. They
allowed us to use the diving board but I
couldn’t go on it because I was ill.
Another memory of year 3 was when we went
to Brandon Marsh and I bought new shoes
and didn’t want to ruin them. We made a fort
and I was covered in mud.
Memory of year 4
A memory of year 4 was when it
was the last day in my year and
we were on the field and all me
and my friends were trying to
make the good memories of that
year. Most people were just doing
gymnastics though.
Memory of year 6
My favourite memory of year 6 was
when we had to tidy the bookshelves
at year 3 and down the corridor and we
missed lessons. While we were doing
the one down the corridor, we were
having a disco and me and my friends
could hear the songs playing.

at Warwick’s Castle, we did a maze and we
had to find clues and stickers and then we has
to find the stand they were on.

when we went to the Rainforest Café. It was
very detailed.
A thing I loved about The Olton Cricket
Tournament was when we played all those

handwriting. When I was in year 3, my
handwriting wasn’t its best and it
improved more at the end of year 3. It
has changed as the years go by and it
was really small in year 5 and the start
of year 6. I really think that I have
improved at it.

My favourite lesson was when we were in year 4 and we were learning
about the digestive system. The next day we did an experiment about the
digestive system and it was a little gross.
