The sole Learning & Development Consultant to the Programme responsible for delivering modernised learning for 130,000 staff. Co-designed, planned & managed delivery of 95 “Leadership for Change” conferences to over 9,000 middle & senior Managers

Design & delivery of 45 two-day Blended Learning workshops to circa 750 blended learning champions across all businesses in DWP. As a direct result of the introduction of blended learning, the business secured savings of £58 million over two years

Produced evaluation strategy & implemented the evaluation (including analysis and production of final report) for two major management development programmes aimed at Senior Civil Servants 250 SCS level & 9,000 Middle Managers to level four (Kirkpatrick).

THE APPEALS SERVICE (now Department for Constitutional Affairs)Judicial Training Manager October 1998 – February 2002An Independent Statutory Body that heard appeals against benefits.

Working in partnership with Judicial Training Advisory Group (JTAG – doctors, lawyers and academics) to analyse training needs, plan solutions, design & deliver in-house training & source external suppliers where appropriate for more than 2,200 lawyers, doctors, academics & carers

Reviewed & radically revised judicial national training curriculum to meet current business needs. Majority of 2,200 members of the judiciary were peri-patetic; introduced e-learning & national conferences, to offer best return on investment & easy to access learning at the right time

Delivered an evaluation strategy to monitor return on investment (ROI) & effectiveness of solutions. By offering revised curriculum with blend of learning, for the first time in their history nearly 97% members completed learning & development activities, ensuring learning in both legislative changes & personal development. One e-learning package (Housing Benefit) secured a financial ROI of over 200% including reduced learner days, travel & subsistence, faster training time ensuring increased numbers of trained judiciary to hear Housing Benefit appeals

Design & delivery of Team Building to 500 staff members & co-designed & delivered Leading a Team for 300 junior managers to SCS Grade 3 level
