When you feel lost or alone, you can lean into the love of God and find comfort. Whether the song you sing today is sad or joyful, listen for God’svoice entwined with your own. Then rejoice in God’s affectionate friendship.

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 Rest in the knowledge that God is always is in your corner, especially if you feel abandoned, betrayed, or wounded by the unkind treatment of others.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39

Jesus is the most beautiful expression of God’s love in our lives. You can always turn to him when you are anxious or afraid because he embodies the love of God.

“See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.” 1John 3:5

Close your eyes and picture a loving parent playing with or holding a child. Let God’s tenderness enfold and protect you. Take that warm image into your day.
