A trip to the argentinian mountainsHi sue!I suppose you want to know all about my trekkingexcursion here in quebrada de humahuaca.Well, we started our excursion on Monday, withpablo, our guide. The first four hours went raeallywell, so pablo decided to continue the walk toalleviate the next day the hardest of all (thehighest point was at 4,500 meters!)

2. But in thre evening, although we were allExeperienced trekkeres, we started to walk more andmore slowly anda we had to stop every fifteenminutes. We mustent stop now, Pablo said, were very near and Don Basilio is waiting for us withthe food and the tents. 3. But I couldnt walk any more and Pablo had yo get amule especially for me. And while I was putting myfoot on a rock to mount the mule, the rockcollapsed and I fell just under the mule! I felt sostupid! My body hurt and my dignity too. 4. I continued the trip on the mule with Pablo and we finally saw a fire, Don Basilio, and the tents. After some time, the rest of the group arrived; everybody felt exhausted and very cold. It was an extremely cold night 5. were starting tomorrow very early in the morningand its 6 or 7 hours to the next place. Rememberthis is the hardest part, so we must go into ourtents now. it was so cold in the tens! 6. The second day was worse and more exhausting thanthe first one. Imagine! Please, dont tell our frinds about the mule!LoveDiana.
