VAJA Finland ceramics are manufactured in Finland in the small laid back town of Loviisa. As the heart of the factory the product development department works in close relation to designers and production which guarantees a beauty and an exellent quality of the products.

Slow city life and beeing located close to the sea and the forests keeps the team inspired to design and produce ceramics with a original and kind touch.

VAJA Finland brand was established in 2011 with a need to create long-lasting design for the modern homes all over the world.

The founders of VAJA Finland, designer Henna Lamberg and modell maker Fred Owren, met when they where working at Arabia ceramic factory in Helsinki. Soon they noticed that they share the same passion for truly well made products, manufactured with exellent finesse of crafman-ship and developed to production lines taking into account the designers aspect as well.

To achieve their ambitions the couple started to design and develop their own collection and set up the production in an old backyard shed ( vaja ) in their garden. Since the start VAJA Finland has aimed to build a global retailer network in order to meet the growing demand.
