THE VAILS GATE GAZETTE THE VAILS GATE GAZETTE JULY 2015 HELLO TEAM VAILSGATE, Hope Everyone Had A Great 4 th of July Holiday! As we look back at the past month we were very busy with Associate Appreciation Day, AEM’s, Pallet Jack Classes, Food Safety, and People on the Move Meetings. Thank You all for your participation. In July we will embark transforming our store to a state of art facility. Adding several new shopping destinations, Sushi, Chef Station, Made to Order Salad bar, Sub Shop and a world Class Cheese Department, a Growler Station, and many more amenities. We will all need to focus on our guest more so than ever, with helping them find items that have been relocated each day. We will need volunteers to wear Yellow Shirt’s. A yellow shirt Associate will walk the sales floor all day helping guest find items during the remodel. If you’re interested please let the management team know or sign up on the posting by the time clock. We continue to be the Best in Class with our Mystery Shops. Thank you very much for taking such good care of our guests! Comings and Goings: I would like to welcome: Melvin Ocasio to our Appy Department. Eunice Dabbs to the Front End Tom Edwards as our new Assistant Store Manager Leaving us is our good Friend Chris McCarthy who has been transferred to New Rochelle. I know that Chis with bring the same leadership to his new role. Please join me in Wishing Chris all the best! Every day I’m so impressed how each of us working individually towards the same goals deliver the BEST In Class Customer Experience.
