QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE for the Specializations

PhD degree with a minimum of 6 years of teaching experience at University or College level in addition to having published material in international

 journals. All academic degrees should be in the same discipline

Master degree with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience at University or College level. Previousdegree should be in the same discipline

Candidates should also have had experience in conducting practical classes and guiding students on relevantprojects

Industrial experience and added value certificates will be considered as an advantage

Candidates must be less than 55 years of age

Candidates with relevant qualifications and experience will be considered for a personal interview

ENGLISH LANGUAGE CENTRE

Candidates should possess qualifications from recognized Institutions with the following:

• MA / M.Ed. (Applied Linguistics / TEFL / TESOL)

• BA English + Post Graduate Diploma in EFL/ESL

• B.Ed. (4 yr program – TEFL?TESOL) + CELTA/DELTA

Candidates should have teaching experience of a minimum of 2 years post degree in the field of ELTCandidates should have had experience in Smart Class, Multi-media and Self-Access Teaching

CANDIDATES (for the English Center) SHOULD BE NATIVE SPEAKERS of the English language.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Starting salary based on the qualification and experience( 1165 Omani Rial for PhD + 6 years) and( 916Omani Rial for Master + 4 years).

Free accommodation with cash provision for furniture.

Medical care for self, spouse and three children.

Annual paid leave (56 days) .

Annual ticket home for self, spouse and three children.

 Two-year renewable contract.
