To deliver a range of f ull-featu red and high-performan ce FT Tx service, V5848G also provides simultaneous services of G-PON and Gigabit Ethernet. It terminates the trac coming from the subscriber lines and consolidates it on one or more Gigabit Ethernet interfaces towards the metropolitan area. V5848G is a chassis system which is designed for maximum exibility and scalability, so that users can congure a service interface with all of G-PON, Gigabit Ethernet or mixture of G-PON and GE according to their network circumstances.
