V5848G can be used as a L3 chassis type switch
supporng 48-Port 100/1000Base-X SFP GE service
as well as G-PON Opcal Line Terminal (OLT)
supporng 16-Port G-PON interfaces. To deliver a
range of full-featured and high-performance FTTx
service, V5848G also provides simultaneous servicesof G-PON and Gigabit Ethernet. It terminates the
traffic coming from the subscriber lines and
consolidates it on one or more Gigabit Ethernet
interfaces towards the metropolitan area.
V5848G is a chassis system which is designed for
maximum flexibility and scalability, so that users can
configure a service interface with all of G-PON,
Gigabit Ethernet or mixture of G-PON and GE
according to their network circumstances. It enables
network managers to build adaptable networks with
maximum cost efficiency and easy management.
