STATUS: In Service

1. The Vessel V-636 was inspected by TesTex, Inc. for an API-510 external evaluation. All thickness readings

collected for this inspection exhibited little to no corrosion from previous inspection. No mandatory repairs

were noted during this inspection. Several non-mandatory items were noted. Attached pressure gauge dial

lenses were noted to be cracked, but can still be read. Some cracking in the containment dike wall over the

containment drain is present. The dike drain is partially clogged with debris and dirt. The top concrete blocks

of the dike are missing cement and are crumbling. The vessel is not grounded. Pressure relief piping exhibits

surface corrosion, and should be cleaned and painted.

2. Ultra Sonic thickness readings and visual inspection were the primary non destructive methods used to

inspect the vessel.

3. Industry standards used to inspect and evaluate the vessel were

25 Ohms electrical resistance.

Action Items:

Description

The walkway platform shows mild surface

corrosion.

The discharge piping should be cleaned

and painted.

Consider cleaning and painting the

walkway platform.

Considere replacing the cracked dial

glasses.

A crack is located in the concrete

containment dike wall above the dike drain.

Considere repairing the crack in the dike

wall.

The containment dike drain is partially

clogged with dirt and debris

Considere cleaning the dike drain.

Pressure relief discharge piping shows signs

of paint failure and surface corrosion.

Dial glasses of both mechanical pressure

gauges are cracked, but still can be read.
