PERSONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FAILURES: THE EMERGING PRIORITIES OF CHILD PROTECTION
You are invited to a special program on Tuesday, January 14 at 6:00 pm in Room A-180 at Widener Law School's Harrisburg campus. Marci Hamil-ton will speak on Personal and Institutional Failures: The Emerging Priorities of Child Protection.
Marci is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a master degree from Penn State University and she was editor in chief of the University of Pennsylvania Law Re-view. She clerked for Judge Edward Becker of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the United States Supreme Court. She is the author of "Justice Denied: What America Must Do to Protect Its Children." Copies of the book will be available for sale after the presentation.
Marci is the Paul R. Verkuil Chair of Public Law at the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and a widely regarded scholar on constitutional law, particularly on issues involving separation of church and state. She has written extensively on the need for statute-of-limitations reform in child sex abuse cases and has emphasized the need for a Restatement of Child Sex Abuse.

The librarians are putting on the Pennsylvania Practice-Oriented Legal Re-search Program on Saturday mornings, February 15th and 22nd between nine and one.
