Leading industry partners provide technical expertise on topics of business, entrepreneurship and leadership.

UBL features an innovative Leadership Lab designed and led by Deloitte. This dynamic training develops the capacity of young leaders in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and innovation and technology. The Lab refines participants’ understanding of key business concepts employed by Deloitte experts in business environments. Special emphasis will be given to the concepts of Human Centered Design, Advertising, and Marketing. These concepts are meant to equip young professionals who are new to leadership and management with the skills necessary to navigate diverse business scenarios and to more effectively position themselves and their organizations for maximum impact.

UBL’s closing program features a world class leadership workshop taught by Dr. Sam Potolicchio, Director of Global Education at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. Participants will explore topics including, effective decision making, influence, persuasion and public speaking. Fellows will perfect pitches for their businesses and previous groups have gained access to prominent guest speakers. Fellows receive a certificate of attendance from the Preparing Global Leaders Forum.
