Magdalena Grizinska When I first came to London I knew little English and it was hard for me to have conversations with people. My sister who was a former Uxbridge College student told me to take the English course. I was doubtful at the beginning as I was embarrassed of my English and thought people would make fun of me, but since I started the College my English has improved.

Karina Kusiak At first my English was lacking and it affected my confidence. I was really self-conscious when speaking to my classmates. Since starting at the College my English is improving and my confidence has been building up.

The staff members are always kind and helpful, they help us when we are confused and are always patient with us.
