1 PurposeThis configuration guide provides the information you need to set up the configuration of this building block manually.
If you do not want to configure manually and prefer an automated installation process using BC Sets and other tools, refer to the installation guide of this building block.
2 Preparation
2.1 Prerequisites
2.1.1 Building BlocksBefore you start installing this building block, you must install prerequisite building blocks. For more information, see the building block prerequisite matrix (Prerequisites_Matrix_[xx]_EN_ZH.xls; the placeholder [xx] depends on the SAP Best Practices version you use, e.g. UTL refers to the SAP Best Practices Utilities Package: Prerequisites_Matrix_UTL_EN_ZH.xls). 3 Configuration
3.1 Project Operative Structures
3.1.1 Maintaining Network Profile
UseThe purpose of this activity is to define network profile used for controlling the processing of networks, such as control keys for activities. The data which you enter here in the network profile is copied into the header, activities, and activity elements when you create a network. You can overwrite these values in each new network.
Procedure 1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

UseThe purpose of this activity is to create project profile which contains default values and other control parameters such as the planning method for dates and costs. The data that you enter in the project profile will be copied into a project in its project definition or in the WBS elements which can later be overwritten.

Use The purpose of this activity is to define the strategy for automatic generation of settlement rules.

Use The purpose of this activity is to assign the strategy for automatic settlement rule generation to a project profile. You can then have the system generate the settlement rule for the WBS element.
Procedure 1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

5. Press Enter.
6. On the Standard Network Change: Operation Overview screen, choose Select All (Ctrl + F5), double click activity 0010, in the Standard Network Change: Detailed data dialog box, enter control key: PS05.
7. Choose Next activity (Shift + F11), enter control key: PS05. In this way you maintain the control key for all other activities.
8. Choose Back (Enter).
9. Choose Save to save your standard network.
ResultStandard network activity has been changed.
