    and initiate sparks.

    Handling Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Prevent dust

    building by sound design. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the

    workpalce. Avoid excessive raising dust. Regularly removing deposit of 

    dust is necessary.

    Systems for transport or storage of powders : take precautions against

    dust explosions by means of 1) electrically earthed equipment, 2)

    application of instruments with protections and accordingly the legislation,

    in Europe the ATEX rules, 3) a process design which can be operated

    safely and accordingly the legislation. All handling equipment must be

    Eco-toxicity This product is expected to be readily biodegradable and not ecotoxic

    under normal circumstances.

    Taking into consideration the local authority regulations, it may be landfilled or incinerated together with

    house hold refuse

    This product is not classified as ganferous goods accoding to the international regulations for transport by

    land, inlad waterways, sea and air.

    Section 15 Regulatory information

    Generally this product is not subjected to the regulations for manfatory marking, however take into

    consideration the possible existence of local regulations.

     As a consequence of the classification rules, polymer products like derivatieves of starch don't have an

    EINECS or ELINCS number. Starch as product or raw materical for derivatives of starch has the EINECS

    number 232-679-6 and the CAS number 9005-25-8.

    Section 16 Other information

    Texicology This product is not classified as a dangerous substance under EU

    regulations. No stach derivatives are currently known to be toxic.

    Section 10 Stability and reactivity

    This product has already lost the original microscopical structure of granules by the physical process during

    production.

    There is no thermal decomposition if used as directed. In case of complete combustion the decomposition

    products carbondioxide(CO2) and water (H2O) are formed.

    This product can be declared as 'starch'

    This product is meant to be used for conventional technical applications.

    Remark Starch products are manufactured form a botanical resources.

     As consequence the dust explosion properties may vary. The dust

    explosion parameters have been derived with consideration of 

    foreseeable variations in circumstances. However, local conditions may

    result in high temperatures add/or low moisture. In case when the product

    is deposited in such conditions, some explosion parameters can be

    negatively influenced, resulting in higher risk.
