COURSE PURPOSEThis program is designed to provide radiologists and other breast imaging health care professions with the basics, as well as ad-vances, in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer as well as benign breast lesions. The focus of this course will be evaluation of the mammogram, integration of newer modalities for mam-mographic interpretation, Breast MRI, Breast Specific Gamma Imaging, CAD and Minimally Invasive Breast Biopsy, as well as an emphasis on evaluation and screening of high risk women and multi-modality correlation.

TARGET AUDIENCEThis course is targeted for radiologists and other health care pro-viders involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with breast cancer as well as technologists involved in the acquisition of images in breast imaging.

DESIGNATION STATEMENTThe International Institute for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.0 AMA PRA Category 1™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity is pending approval by ASRT for credit.

ACCREDITATIONThe International Institute for Continuing Medical Educa-tion, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Con-tinuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVESAt the completion of this course, the participants will be able to:• Correlate mammography, MRI and ultrasound findings.• Assess benign and malignant lesions with BIRAD for mammog-

raphy, ultrasound and MRI.• Integrate breast MRI into clinical practice.• Comprehend proper patient selections as well as proper approach

to minimally invasive, image guided breast biopsy.• Comprehend the role as well as the data for screening ultrasound

for breast cancer.• Comprehend the correlation of imaging findings and pathology at

minimally invasive breast biopsy with concordance.• Comprehend the clinical implications and surgical selection fol-

lowing a diagnosis of a high risk lesion on minimally invasive breast biopsy.

• Comprehend the use of CAD for mammography and breast MRI in clinical practice.

• Comprehend the basis of and the role of Breast Specific Gamma Imaging and Nuclear Medicine imaging of the breast.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of multi modality imag-ing correlation.

• Comprehend the evaluation and screening of high risk patient.

fEES, REfUNDS & REGISTRATION FEES: The fee for US/Israel Breast Imaging Conference: (Wednesday through Thursday, October 2-3, 2013) is: $895.00 for physicians if your registration is postmarked by September 2, 2013. After that date, the fee is $950.00. For Residents, Fellows, Retired, Military, the fee will be $695.00 and $750.00 after dead-line. For any Technologists/Allied Health Prof. the fee is $595.00 or $650.00 if your registration is postmarked after September 2, 2013. A letter of verification from the Department Chairman must accompany the application of anyone wishing to qualify for the re-duced rate. Enrollment will be confirmed on the basis of registra-tion fee. We do not process registration without payment. We can-not guarantee course materials on site for a registration received after September 2, 2013. If you are a local Israeli physician, we would like to offer you a special discounted rate of $495.00 to attend the course. If you are a local Israeli technologist, we would like to offer you a special discounted rate of $125.00 to attend the course.
