Use a firewall and anti- spy/virus/malware software
Use password management software or password vaults

Make sure the answer to your secret question can’t be guessed

Make sure the “Remeber me” box is unmarked with public computers
Don’t click on links in e-mails from “unknown/suspicious” sources…

Check if the login page uses https://
If it’s sounds too good to be true…
It’s a scam
Lock your computer when you leave your (public) computer
Limit accessibility to workstations by “unauthorised” persons
Limit or avoid, that others can use your (social media) accounts
Use social media in a smart way
Don’t tweet your login details or a picture of your (new) creditcard
Post your holiday photo’s when you have returned.
Be smart in who you add as friend/contact
Let’s recap
Update your software and use a firewall, anti-virus/malware protection.
Use long passwords, which you can remember and change regularly.
Don’t share your passwords and login data.
Be smart with Social Media.
Don’t click on links from “unknown or suspicious” sources.
