Terminology and Key Concepts ■ Provisioning
▪ Orchestrates the installation, configuration, and deployment of applications product offerings from a system point of view. ▪ Installing the software and making available for implementation
■ Offerings — Highest level grouping of functionality that can be licensed and
implemented. Offerings have to be selected during provisioning
— A Fusion Offering may have one or more Options and / or Features
▪ Options — Option is a piece of specific functionality that you may want to
implement as part of the offering and may not be relevant to all impl.
▪ Features — Alternative business methods or rules used to fine tune business
processes and activities supported by offering or an option

Terminology and Key Concepts ■ Implementation Projects
▪ After the offering and functional area selections are made, an implementation project is created
▪ Collection of all Tasks and Task Lists
■ Tasks and Task Lists ▪ Tasks provide the navigation to the setup pages where the setup data
is entered
▪ Task Lists are the sequential and logical group of setup tasks to be performed to implement a particular offering
■ Scope ▪ Refers to an object that allows a task list to be executed repeatedly. An
example of a scope value is Business Unit, where you select a particular business unit and perform all setup tasks for that BU
■ Configuration Package ▪ Combined unit of an implementation project and its related setup data
for moving from one instance to another
