Using Citizen Science In and Out of the Classroom
Technology and nature can seem like competing forces but smartphones and tablets can support and enhance the outdoor experience. In this session, we will walk through using the mobile app iNaturalist to identify living organisms in your schoolyard and contribute to global citizen science efforts. If possible, please download the app and create an account before the meeting.
Britt Forsberg is the program coordinator for the Minnesota Bee Atlas, a citizen science project mapping the distribution and diversity of native bees in Minnesota.
To get a headcount for catering, an email RSVP is required by March 6th to: [email protected]
