![Page 32: Using Google Analytics at Library websites](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062722/56813adb550346895da322ff/html5/thumbnails/32.jpg)
Course specific reports
• What Library resources are used by the users?
• What sorts of reports can be usefully generated for those course teams?
• What sorts of reports can be usefully generated for the library contacts for that course?
• Track student behaviour on different courses (or residential schools) and feedback to relevant course teams
![Page 33: Using Google Analytics at Library websites](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062722/56813adb550346895da322ff/html5/thumbnails/33.jpg)
Some more actions (1)
• Segment onsite/offsite and regional users (apply IP range filters)
• Track by each course (from VLE) which are sending traffic to Library resources
• Enhanced OU Library PI reports – different view points (Many Eyes tool?)
• Improve homepage – keep a regular eye on site overlays
![Page 34: Using Google Analytics at Library websites](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062722/56813adb550346895da322ff/html5/thumbnails/34.jpg)
Some more actions (2)
• Buyer/owner of each database to keep an eye on the usage
• Reduce long list of databases – show only top 5 as GA suggests
• Use consistent names and URL paths
• Use the new GA script to track journals traffic
