IntroductionWhat are Team and Entity Pages? In MyAIESEC.net, pages is the central place where you can get necessary information about an Entity of a Team . Pages represent the identity of an entity or team. Every team and entity that exists has a Page on MyAIESEC.net. Amongst other things, Pages can enable you to see can enable you to see the teams that are registered under an entity, the people in teams, performance of a team, and documents associated with the team.

This guide would explain how to work with teams and the various functionality you have in Team and entity pages.

1. Overview of Entity and Team PagesAs explained in the introductory section, team and entity pages are the central place on MyAIESEC.net where you can interact with an entity or page and get access to information as regards that entity and page.

1.1. The Difference Between Entity Page and Team Page

An entity page is associated to a committee, either a Member committee, local committee, regional committee or global Committee. While a Team Page is associated with a Team that is created under any of the Committees. So for example, the Member Committee of AIESEC in Malta would have an Entity page on the system, while the OGX group of AIESEC in Zurich in Switzerland would have a Team page.

1.2. Finding Entity and Team Pages

There are two basic ways of finding an Entity or team pages on the system; either by Searching or by using the Network Tool.

1.2.1. Using The Search Tool

You can find teams on the system by using the search functionality. The search tool is found at the top of the page. To search for teams, select Teams from the drop down button and type the Key Word for the Page you are looking for.

Another way of searching for teams is to use the search tool under the connect menu. To do this, follow the following steps:

?Login to the system, click on the Connect menu. Then click on Search Page

?A page loads where you can select either it's an Entity or Team page that is to be searched.?For this illustration we choose Entity.

?You can then precede to specify other filters for the search. Once done, click on View Enity Page?

1.2.2. Using The Network Tool

To use the Network Tool, follow the following steps.

?Login to the system, click on the Connect menu. Then click on Search Page

?The Network page loads, by the left hand side select region to see the countries listed.

?Click on the country whose Entity Page you want to view. This loads a ballon on the map at the location of the country.

?If the Entity you are looking for is associated with a Local Committe, you can access this,by clicking on the LC pages. This list out all the LC entity pages in that country. Clicking onany of them loads the Entity page.

Click on the Yellow ballon to load more details.

The parts of an entity page consists of:

2.1 Contact Information.The top part of the page displays the contact information of the entity and the Members. Clickingon any of the members would load their details. Note that for Entity pages, it is the members of Executive Board of that entity that is listed.

2.2 Team Pages

On entity Pages, You have all th team pages created and associated to that entity listed. You can view these team pages by clicking the links

2.3 Team Goals and Performance.

Team or Entity pages also contain the goals and performance of the team or entity it represents. This is found at the lower end of the page.

2.4 Page ResourcesBy the right hand side of every page, You find the most recent contents associated with that Page that has been created or uploaded to the system. These includes: wikis, files and conversations.

Every page has the ability to have contents assigned to it. This is always displayed at the right hand side of every page as Resource. This feature is an easy way to make available necessary information or resources for members that belongs to entities or team.

?The process of getting contents assigned to a page as Resource is achieved while creating the contents.

When a Wiki, File or conversation is to be created, the system always ask for Category, which states either an Entity or Team.

The wiki, file or conversation would then be associated with whichever category that is selected.

On every Team and Entity page, there is a space to leave a small message less than 170 words about important items the team members are to know. These are referred to as Notifications.

Notifications enable the ability to give small simple announcements such as deadlines, schedule reminders for your LC or a team.

To create a notification, follow the following process.

? A page loads which two options: News and Notification.

? Select News to create the typical Newletter that gets to sent via email to subscribers. Select Notification to create Page Notification.

? Another page loads where you select the type of page you want to create the notification on. You have Entity and Teams. For this illustration, Entity was selected, and this loads the page where you can select which entity you want to create the notification in, and proceed with the Notification creation.

Login to the system, click on the Connect menu and then Create news.
