IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU START THE POLICE REPORT PROCESS IMMEDIATELY.

The Kuwait Immigration Department requires all individuals to obtain Criminal Record Clearances (NOT A TRAFFIC VIOLATION REPORT) before they will approve/stamp the passport with a residence visa.

This report must be clear of all criminal charges and/or traffic violations. If your report shows any of these, call your recruiter immediately.

This means that every U.S. citizen processing for deployment to Kuwait needs to request and obtain a Criminal History Record Check. To obtain your Criminal History Record Check IMMEDIATELY please follow the instructions below:

1)Go to www.cbirecordscheck.com2)Click Individual button at bottom of page. 3)Agree to the terms. This report will cost $6.854)Fill out the form. Please fill in ALL fields, even those not required. Once your recruiter receives this, we will forward it to the Kuwait Embassy in Washington DC. Once your Criminal History Record comes back cleared, Vectrus will use that to obtain your work visa once you arrive in Kuwait.

VISA PROCESSOnce your recruiter has received your color passport copy, your recruiter will forward it to our sponsor to apply for a business visa. This is to help you along in the work visa (Visa 18) process:

A person will fall under one of three categories:1. A person that has never obtained a Kuwait work visa or Kuwait permanent residency or other kind of Kuwait entry visa. 2. A person that is currently working in Kuwait for another company with permanent or temporary residency or a person that has entered Kuwait on a tourist visa.3. A person that has entered Kuwait on an airport or tourist visa.

If you fall under Number 1there will be no additional requirements from you except a CLEAR Passport Copy that you will send with your signed offer letter.

If you fall under Number 2The following are the steps that need to be accomplished:1. If you have been employed with your current employer for 3 years, we should be able to transfer the residency. Please let your recruiter know this. If you have not been working for your current employer for 3 years, then go to the next step.2. If you have a permanent residency with your current employer, this will need to be cancelled before we can apply for your visa. The process to cancel the residency can take up to 2 weeks depending on your company/sponsor. You will be required to resign your position before your employer will cancel the residency.3. Once your residency is cancelled, our office will need a copy of the cancelled residency page in your Passport and a copy of the "pink paper" from the ministry.4. For us to be able to apply for your work visa, you will need to depart the country after your residency has been cancelled. Before you depart the country, please request a copy of pink paper from your current sponsor to ensure that your residency has been properly cancelled. After you have departed the country, please email/fax us a copy of the exit stamp that you would have received in your passport when you left the country. This will confirm to the Ministry that you have cancelled out your residency. You will need to remain out of the country while the visa is being processed (approximately a 2 week time period), otherwise the visa package will be rejected if you are still in the country or try to come back in Kuwait with any other kind of visa.5. Once you depart Kuwait, let your recruiter know and we can send your paperwork forward to apply for your work visa. 6. Please be advised that if there are complications with your residency not being cancelled out properly by your prior sponsor, we will need to withdraw your offer of employment at that time.

If you fall under Number 3The following are the steps that need to be accomplished:1. If you have entered Kuwait on a tourist or airport visa, then Vectrus will not be able to apply for your work visa until you have departed country and the visa has been cancelled out.2. Once you have departed country, please let your recruiter know so they can forward the paperwork to process you for the work visa.

The following requirements apply to EVERYONE:1. You will need to submit a passport with at least 1 year validity.2. Age Limit to be able to obtain a visa is minimum 21 years old (male), 25 years (female) to maximum age of 60 years.

The work visa can be rejected for the following reasons:1. If there is a previous ban or record (ex. Traffic fines, etc.)2. Previous residencies that have not been cancelled out properly by your previous sponsor

If any of the above requirements are not met, then we will not be able to obtain a Kuwait work permit and therefore we will need to withdraw the offer of employment, or terminate employment at that time.

If you have any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to contact your recruiter.
