Congratulations on purchasing your newCurve VT60 electronic cigarette kit.

The Curve VT60 combines the latest innovation in variable temperature (VT) vaping with the incredibly stylish and popular Curve range of Totally Wicked’s electronic cigarettes. The enormous popularity of the Curve range is founded in ultimate practicality and ergonomic designs which allow the excellent functionality to be experienced and loved by all, from completely new users to the most advanced and experienced vapers. The addition of a temperature control system further enhances the practicality of the device, allowing a user to tune the device to suit their vaping style and doing so with a respectable power output of 60 Watts. The Curve VT60 includes the provision to use variable temperature mode with Nickel 200 and Titanium coils, or can simply be used as a variable wattage device with Kanthal or NiChrome coils. Conveniently, the 18650 battery included with the device is removable due to the interchangeable front and back magnetic covers. We are sure the Totally Wicked Curve VT60 will represent a very important stepping stone in our product history.

Priming a new atomizer head: Unscrew the atomizer base (a) from the atomizer tube. Ensure the atomizer head (c) is firmly screwed into the base. Add a small amount of e-liquid into the top of the atomizer head and one drop of e-liquid to the 4 small wicking holes on the side of the atomizer head. Refit the base to the atomizer tube and fit the mouthpiece (f).

Filling the tank:Ensure the air-flow control (b) is fully closed, fully open the e-liquid filling hole (e) whilst holding the tank at 45° carefully fill the tank until the level of e-liquid reaches the top of the glass tube. Close the filling hole and open the air-flow control.

Note: Colour coded seals to match the atomizer head are provided to fit to the tank as a reminder of which type of atomizer head you have installed.

The tank is ready to be fitted to the Curve VT60.

Fitting the battery to the Curve VT60:Remove the back magnetic cover (G). Install an appropriately specified 18650 mAh battery ensuring the polarity of the battery matches the polarity of the markings inside the device. Refit the back cover.

Power on and off: Press the power button (B) 5 times in quick succession, the OLED Screen will light to indicate the Curve VT60 is on and ready to use. In the same way, to turn the Curve VT60 off, press the power button 5 times in quick succession. When the Curve VT60 is on, the screen will turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity, but will seamlessly recover when the power button is pressed.

Using your Curve VT60

Vaping in Temperature Mode: Press the power button as you inhale. When the button is held down, the OLED screen will be illuminated, and will show the temperature, power and base atomizer resistance.

Vaping in Power Mode:Press the power button as you inhale. When the button is held down, the OLED screen will be illuminated and will show the power, voltage, resistance and vaping time.

Temperature Protection:In Temperature Control-Ni and Ti mode, if the actual temperature of the coil exceeds the user set temperature, the screen will show “Temp Protection”. This is normal and shows the device is operating correctly.

Adjusting temperature: Target coil temperature is adjusted by pressing the up or down rocker button (D). Press and hold either button to make large changes. Sweeping to either extreme of the adjustment range will switch display from Fahrenheit (200°- 600°) to Celsius (100°- 315°) and vice versa.

Adjusting atomizer airflow: Adjusting the airflow control (b) varies the aperture size through which air is drawn into the atomizer. This can be adjusted to give the perfect resistance to airflow to suit your taste.

Adjustment Lock function:While the device is on, simultaneously hold the up and down rocker button for 2 seconds until “Lock” appears on the OLED screen. If the adjustment lock is active the output adjuster buttons will not function, preventing accidental VT/VW setting adjustments. The lock can be disabled in the same way, and “Unlock” will be displayed.

Lock/Unlock atomizer resistance:With the Curve VT60 in Ni or Ti Temperature control mode, press the power button (B) and the up button together for 2 seconds to lock the atomizer resistance at “base resistance”. A padlock icon will appear next to the resistance reading. Repeat the above to unlock the resistance and a “Ω” symbol will appear next to the resistance reading. (Note: Please lock the resistance only at room temperature so that the Curve VT60 can record the correct “base resistance”.)

In the unlocked mode, when you change the atomizer, the screen may display “New coil up - same down”. If the same coil is still fitted, press the down button, and if it is a new coil press the up button. Please unlock the resistance when fitting a new atomizer/coil of a different resistance.

Display rotation:While the device is off, simultaneously hold the up and down buttons for 2 seconds to rotate the display orientation through 180 degrees.

Stealth function:While the device is on, simultaneously hold the power and down buttons for 2 seconds. This will switch between “Stealth ON” and “Stealth OFF”. When the stealth function is active the OLED screen will not display when the device is in use. Tap the power activation button quickly to display settings if required when the stealth function is active.

Ni/Ti/VW mode:The Curve VT60 can be used in Temperature (Ni) mode with Nickel 200 coils, Ti mode with Titanium coils or in variable power (VW) mode with NiChrome or Kanthal coils.Pressing and holding the mode button (E) for 2 seconds toggles between these 3 modes.

In VW mode output wattage can be adjusted from 1W-60W by pressing the up button to increase the power and pressing the down button to decrease the power. Pressing and holding the up or down buttons will make the wattage setting rapidly increase or decrease.

Please note in VW mode there will be no temperature protection. Please ensure the power setting is suitable for the resistance of the coil fitted.

If the Curve VT60 is used in temperature controlled mode with coil material that is not capable of temperature sensing, it will immediately drop back into VW mode. You may need to reduce power using the down button to avoid burning your non-VT coil if this happens.

Charging the battery: Remaining battery charge is displayed on the OLED Screen, and the battery charge indicator will flash when remaining charge is below 10%. The battery can be recharged using the supplied USB cable plugged into a dedicated USB port or wall adaptor. The Curve VT60 can be used normally during battery charging.

When connected to the USB cable and while the Curve VT60 is switched on, the battery charge icon will flash to show it is charging. If the Curve VT60 is switched off while charging, a larger battery charge icon will display charging status, and will go out when fully charged.

Alternatively the battery can be removed and charged in an appropriate external charger.

Changing front and back magnetic covers:Alternative coloured front and back covers are available to purchase separately for coordinating your device for fashion. To remove the front cover open the back cover and remove the battery, close to the negative terminal you will find a hole through which you can push a thin screwdriver or similar to pop off the front magnetic cover, you can replace both covers with the colour of your choice.

Malfunction Indication and Protection: Over 10 Second Protection: When the power button is pressed for over 10 seconds, the output will shut off and the OLED Screen will display “Over 10s protection”.

Atomizer Short-circuit and No Atomizer Protection:When atomizer short-circuit occurs, the OLED Screen will display “Atomizer Short”. The screen will display “No Atomizer” when there is no atomizer connected.

Low-voltage Protection:When the voltage of the battery is below 3.3V the OLED Screen will display “Lock” and the battery must be recharged to unlock the device.

Unlocking Low-voltage Protection:As soon as charging commences low-voltage protection will be unlocked.

Temperature alert:If the temperature of the device exceeds 70°C, the output will shut off automatically and the screen will display “Device Too Hot”. The device will operate normally after it has cooled sufficiently.

Atomizer Head Replacement:Unscrew the atomizer base from the tank. Unscrew the atomizer head and remove from the atomizer base. Screw a new ML atomizer head into the atomizer base and firmly tighten. Refit the atomiser base into the tank, refill if necessary. Connect the assembled atomizer to the battery and the Curve VT60 is ready to use.

Further precautions:• Store the Curve VT60 e-cigarette and its accessories away from children whilst not in use.• Please only use the charging cable provided.• Please dispose of dead batteries in a cordance with your country’s appropriate legislation.

• Do not charge the battery in a damp environment, in temperatures under 0°C or above 45°C.• Do not carry batteries in a pocket or bag with other metallic objects.• Do not attempt to repair a faulty Curve VT60 power unit as these are sealed units with no serviceable parts. Attempted repairs will void the warranty.

WarrantyThe Curve VT60 components contained in each kit have a 28-day parts warranty with the exception of the atomizer heads which are covered by our Dead On Arrival warranty only. The USB cable supplied has a 12-month warranty. If any parts are found to be faulty within this time please contact our customer service team, whose details are on the back page of this booklet and we will arrange for a replacement. We may require the goods to be returned for further investigation.

Inbetriebnahme eines neuen Verdampferkopfes:Verdampferbasis (I) vom Tank abschrauben. Der neue Verdampferkopf sollte handfest in die Basis geschraubt werden. Eine kleine Menge E-Liquid direkt von Oben in den Verdampferkopf geben und ebenfalls die 4 seitlichen Löcher mit E-Liquid benetzen. Anschließend die Verdampferbasis wieder an den Tank schrauben und das Mundstück aufsetzen (N).

Tank befüllen:Es muss zunächst darauf geachtet werden, dass die Luftzugöffnung an der Verdampferbasis (J) komplett geschlossen ist. Seitliche E-Liquid Befüllöffnung (M) öffnen und mit E-Liquid befüllen - dabei den Tank im 45° Winkel halten. Anschließend E-Liquid Befüllöffnung schließen und die Luftzugregulierung wieder öffnen.

Anmerkung: Farbige Dichtungen sind beigelegt, damit der Tank entsprechend zum eingesetzten Verdampferkopf farblich als Gedächtnisstütze angepasst werden kann.

Der Tanks ist jetzt zum Aufschrauben an die Curve VT60 bereit.

Akku in die Curve VT60 einsetzen:Magnetischen Akkufachdeckel (G) vom Gerät lösen. Einen geeigneten 18650 Akku einlegen und dabei die Polarität beachten. Wenn der Akku ordnungsgemäß eingelegt wurde, kann der magnetische Akkufadeckel wieder aufgesetzt werden.

Power Ein/Aus:Power-Taster (B) 5-mal hintereinander drücken; das OLED-Display leuchtet auf und signalisiert, dass die Curve VT60 an und zur Nutzung bereit ist. Zum Ausschalten, Taster ebenfalls 5-mal drücken. Im aktiven Modus geht das Display nach ca. 30 Sekunden aus und leuchtet erneut auf, wenn der Power-Taster gedrückt wird.

Bedienung Ihrer Curve VT60

Im temperaturgeregelten Modus dampfen:Beim Inhalieren Power-Taster drücken - am OLED-Display werden dabei die eingestellte Temperatur, Leistungsparameter und der Verdampferwiderstand angezeigt.

Im Power-Modus dampfen:Beim Inhalieren Power-Taster drücken - am OLED-Display werden dabei die Leistung (Watt), Spannung (Volt), der Verdampferwiderstand und die Zugdauer angezeigt.

Temperaturschutz:Wenn im temperaturgeregelten Ni/Ti-Modus die tatsächliche Temperatur der Heizwendel die eingestellte Temperatur übersteigt, wird am Display “Temp Protection” angezeigt. Dieses Verhalten ist normal und signalisiert, dass das Gerät korrekt arbeitet.

Temperatur einstellen:Die gewünschte Heizwendel-Temperatur kann durch Drücken des Rauf/Runter-Taster (D) eingestellt werden. Drücken und Halten ermöglicht einen schnelleren Vor- oder Rücklauf. Die Temperatur kann in Fahrenheit (200°-600°) oder in Celsius (100°-315°) angezeigt werden, indem man rotierend den Einstellbereich über das Maximum oder Minimum hinaus und umgekehrt durchfährt.

Luftzug einstellen:Durch Drehen der Luftzugregulierung an der Verdampferbasis (J) variiert die Öffnungsgröße des Lufteinlasses und somit die Menge an Luft, die zum Verdampferkopf angesaugt wird. Die Luftzugregulierung erlaubt eine perfekte Abstimmung des Zugwiderstandes.

Rauf/Runter-Taster sperren:Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, den Rauf/Runter-Taster in beide Richtungen gleichzeitig gedrückt halten – mit dieser Abfolge kann dieser Taster gesperrt und entsperrt werden. Ist Taster gesperrt, kann ein versehentliches Verstellen der VT/VW Parameter verhindert werden.

Verdampferwiderstand sichern/entsichern:Wenn die Curve VT60 im temperaturgeregelten Ni- oder Ti-Modus genutzt wird, Power-Taster (B) und Rauf-Taster gleichzeitig für ca. zwei Sekunden gedrückt halten, um den ‘Basiswiderstand’ zu sichern. Danach erscheint ein Schloss-Symbol gleich neben der Widerstandsanzeige. Zum Entsichern den Vorgang wiederholen und es erscheint ein Ω-Symbol gleich neben der Widerstandsanzeige. (Anmerkung: Verdampferwiderstand nur dann sichern, wenn die Heizwendel der Raumtemperatur entspricht – nur dies sichert die korrekte ‘Aufnahme’ des Basiswiderstandes).

Erfolgt ein Tank- oder Verdampferkopf-Wechsel und der Verdampferwiderstand wurde nicht gesichert, erscheint auf dem Display die Meldung ‘New coil up – same down’ (Neuer Verdampferkopf Rauf – selber Verdampferkopf Runter). Wenn es der selbe Verdampferkopf ist, Runter-Taster drücken und bei einem neuen den Rauf-Taster. Bevor ein neuer Verdampferkopf eingesetzt wird, sollte der Verdampferwiderstand entsichert werden.

Displayanzeige drehen:Gerät ausschalten und Rauf/Runter-Taster gleichzeitig in beider Richtungen für ca. zwei Sekunden gedrückt halten: die Displayanzeige dreht sich um 180 Grad.

Stealth-Modus:Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, Power-Taster und Runter-Taster gleichzeitig für ca. zwei Sekunden gedrückt halten – mit dieser Abfolge kann der Stealth Modus aktiviert und deaktiviert werden (‘Stealth ON’ / ‘Stealth OFF’). Im Stealth Modus leuchtet das OLED-Display beim Dampfen nicht auf. Kurzes Klicken des Power-Tasters ermöglicht dennoch das Ablesen der Einstellungen am Display.

Ni/Ti/VW-Modus:Die Curve VT60 kann sowohl im temperaturgeregelten Modus mit Nickel-200 (Ni) oder mit Titan Verdampferköpfen (Ti), als auch im Leistungs-Modus (VW) mit konventionellen Verdampfersystemen betrieben werden. Wird der Modus-Taster (E) für ca. zwei Sekunden gedrückt, kann zwischen den 3 Modi gewechselt werden.

Im VW-Modus kann die Ausgangsleistung mit dem Rauf/Runter-Taster von 1W-60W eingestellt werden - Drücken und Halten ermöglicht hierbei einen schnelleren Vor- oder Rücklauf der Watteinstellung.

Anmerkung: Im VW-Modus ist keine Temperaturschutzfunktion gegeben. In diesem Modus sollte stets eine geeignete Watteinstellung zum Verdampfer(-Kopf)-Widerstand vorgenommen werden.

Wenn versucht wird die Curve VT60 im temperaturgeregelten Modus zu betreiben und der Heizwendel-Draht ist nicht für die Temperaturmessung geeignet, schaltet das Gerät automatisch in den leistungsgeregelten VW-Modus. Wenn dies geschieht, sollte evtl. die Leistung mit dem Rauf/Runter-Taster reduziert werden, um ein vorzeitiges Ausbrennen der Heizwendel zu verhindern.

Akku aufladen:Der Akkuladestand wird am OLED-Display angezeigt. Unter 10% beginnt die Ladestandsanzeige am Display zu blinken. Der Akku kann herausgenommen und mit einem geeigneten Ladegerät oder auch über die Curve VT60 selbst, mittels beigelegtem USB-Kabel, an einem geeignetem USB-Port oder USB-Netzstecker aufgeladen werden. Während des Ladevorgangs kann die Curve VT60 weiter genutzt werden.

Wenn die Curve VT60 am USB-Kabel angeschlossen und eingeschaltet ist, wird der Ladevorgang mit blinkender Akkuanzeige am Display quittiert. Wenn die Curve VT60 ausgeschaltet ist, wird der Ladestand anhand eines Batteriesymbols angezeigt, das nach abgeschlossenem Ladevorgang erlischt.

Front-Cover und Akkufachdeckel wechseln:Alternative Farben sind separat erhältlich und können bei Bedarf und Präferenz gewechselt gewechselt werden. Zum Entfernen des Front-Covers zunächst den magnetischen Akkufachdeckel lösen und den Akku entnehmen. Im Akkufach befindet sich neben dem Minuspol eine Öffnung, durch die das magnetische Front-Cover z. B. mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher herausgedrückt und gelöst werden kann.

Fehleranzeige und Schutzfunktionen:10 Sek. Sicherheitsabschaltung: Hält man den Power-Taster länger als 10 Sekunden gedrückt, wird die Stromzufuhr aus Sicherheitsgründen unterbrochen und es erscheint am Display die Meldung ‘Over 10s protection’.

Kurzschlussschutz und Verdampferschutz:Wenn vom Gerät ein Kurzschluss am Verdampferkopf erkannt wurde, erscheint am Display die Meldung ‘Atomizer Short’. Wenn kein Verdampfer am Gerät angeschlossen ist, erscheint beim Drücken des Power-Tasters die Meldung ‘No Atomizer’.

Tiefentladeschutz:Fällt die tatsächliche Akkuspannung auf unter 3.3V, erscheint am Display die Meldung ‘Lock’. Solange kein Ladevorgang erfolgt, ist das Gerät für eine weitere Nutzung gesperrt.

Tiefentladeschutz aufheben:Beim Ladevorgang wird der Tiefentladeschutz wieder aufgehoben.

Temperatur-Alarm:Wenn die Temperatur des Gerätes 70°C übersteigt, wird die Stromzufuhr an den Verdampfer automatisch unterbrochen und am Display erscheint die Meldung ‘Device Too Hot’ (= Gerät zu heiß). An dieser Stelle sollte die Nutzung unterbrochen werden, bis die Temperatur auf ein normales Niveau gesunken ist.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:• Bewahren Sie die Curve VT40 E-Zig

und das Zubehör außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren auf.

• Nur das mitgelieferte Ladekabel verwenden.

• Alte oder defekte Akkus nach gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entsorgen.

• Akkus nicht in feuchter Umgebung, oder bei Temperaturen unter 0°C oder über 45°C aufladen.

• Akkus nicht in Taschen mit metallischen Gegenständen aufbewahren.

• Versuchen Sie nicht die Curve VT60 selbst zu reparieren. Ein Reparaturversuch kann zu weiteren Schäden am Gerät und/ oder Personen führen. Beim Reparaturversuch erlischt die Garantie.
