Introduction
Shop by Brand is a very useful plugin that allows WooCommerce store admin to showcase products from various brands in a user intuitive way in their store. It adds a brand attribute for products. Admin can create as many brands as they want, edit brand details (name, description and image), assign products to each brand and make products in the front end, filterable by brand along with other features.

Edit Brand Details in a single click.
Assign products to a particular brand.
Use Shortcodes to display brands in alphabetic order.
Hide Filter using short code.
Use Shortcodes for styling Brand Slider, Product List, and Product Slider.
View Brands in Thumbnail view.
Set SEO Meta Details for a brand page.
Import Brands using CSV.
Supports Visual Composer and WPML.
Pre-requisites
Following points must be followed before starting Installation.
You should login as an Administrator in WordPress.
You must have a valid License Key Provided by AppJetty.
To make this plugin work, WooCommerce plugin must be in activated mode in site. Plugin
supports WooCommerce version 2.4.4 and above.

Installation
Installation Steps To install this Plug in, you can follow the below steps to do a manual installation.
Download the Plug in from www.appjetty.com
To start with the installation, Log-in as Administrator into WordPress. Hover over ‘Plugins’ and
click on ‘Add New’ to install the package.

To upload the plugin click on ‘Upload Plugin’ button.
Click on ‘Browse’ button and Browse the zip file. After uploading package, click on the ‘Install
Now’ button to install the package.

Plug-in Configuration
Get activation key
Get the activation key from the Order Confirmation Mail. OR
Login to your AppJetty account then go to downloadable options and copy the activation key for
the WC Shop By Brand-Plug-in.
Activate your plug-in
After successful package installation, you need to validate your license and activate your WC Shop
By Brand from ‘Settings’ module.
Log-in to WordPress as admin and navigate to ‘WC Shop by Brand -> General Settings.
Now Enter License activation key for the WC Shop By Brand plug-in provided by AppJetty. Validate
your license by clicking on the ‘Save Changes’ button.

WordPress Configurations
Add Brands:
To add brands browse to Products -> Brands. The interface works just like adding categories and
tags; the form on the left lets you add a brand and then they are displayed on the right.

Mention the Name of brand, the Slug URL and Description of the brand. You can also upload a
Logo for your brand.

Once you have added the brands they will be listed on the right. You can edit them by clicking
their names. Also you can delete the brand by clicking on ‘Delete’ button.

Adding SEO Meta Details:
Meta Details for a brand can be added by checking the ‘Apply in brand?’ checkbox.

General Settings:
To access general settings Hover over ‘WC Shop by Brand’ and Click on ‘General Settings’.
General Settings mainly contains following options:

Breadcrumb Brands Page Link
Theme Color
Product List Page:
To display Brand Title in Product List Page check the ‘Show Brand Title’ checkbox.

To display Brand Image in product List Page check the ‘Show Brand Image’ checkbox.
Product Page:
To display Brand Title in Product Page check the ‘Show Brand Title’ checkbox.
To display Brand Image in Product Page check the ‘Show Brand Image’ checkbox.
Breadcrumb Brands Page Link:
To set page link for the Breadcrumb brands select the page from the dropdown menu.
Theme Color:
To set theme color for brands click on ‘Select Color’ and select the desired theme color.

Shortcode Generator:
To Generate Shortcodes hover over WC Shop by Brand and click on ‘Shortcode Generator’.
From Shortcode Generator you can generate shortcodes for styling following:
Brand List
Brand Slider
Product List by brand
Product Slider by brand
To generate shortcode select the Widget from the ’Shortcode’ dropdown, Style the Widget and
click on ‘Generate’.

Assigning Brand to a product:
To assign a brand to a product, go to the Edit view of a product and check a box from the List of
Brands and click on ‘Update’ button.

Add Widgets:
You can add following widgets:
Brand A-Z filter: It provides A-Z filter with brands list.
Brand List: It provides brands list.
Brand Thumbnail: It provides brands thumbnail list.
Brand Dropdown: It provides brands dropdown list.
Brand Slider: It provides brands slider.
To add widgets navigate to Appearance -> Widgets.
To add widget click on particular widget and choose a position for the widget and then click on
‘Add Widget’ button in the end. Also you can customize the widget according to your
requirement.

WooCommerce Report - Sales by Brand:
To generate reports navigate to WooCommerce -> Reports.

Now Click on Sales by Brand to generate ‘Sales by brand’ report.
Lastly select the time duration and the brands for which the report is to be generated.

Brand CSV Importer:
To import CSV navigate to Tools -> Import.
Now In ‘Brand CSV’ section, Click on ‘Run Importer’. Then choose a CSV file to upload by clicking
on ’Choose File’, then click ‘Upload File and Import’.
