Warranty Smartwatcher provides a warranty in accordance with national laws governing the sale of consumer goods and warrants that the watch under normal use during the warranty period is free from defects in materials and workmanship. 1. The warranty lasts and is provided in accordance with the respective local laws, as standard for a period of twenty-four (24) months for the watch unit from the original date of purchase of the product, and is only applicable if you have purchased the watch from an official dealership in a member state of European Union, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. 2. During the warranty period Smartwatcher or its authorized service network will repair or replace, at Smartwatcher’s option, the watch or any relevant part thereof in the event that the product is found to be defective. Repair or replacement may involve use of a functionally equivalent recon- ditioned unit or materials. All replaced defective parts shall become the property of Smartwatcher. 3. Unless contrary to the respective local law, the warranty in respect of a repaired or replaced product or part shall extend for the remaining warran- ty period of the repaired or replaced product or part. 4. The consumer will be required to provide the original purchase receipt documenting the date and place of purchase as well as the original packa- ging. If receipt and packaging is not presented or is incomplete or illegible, Smartwatcher has the right to refuse the warranty service. Page 4 6. Regulatory & Safety Notices 1. Do not expose your device or accessories to extreme heat or cold. Ideal operating conditions is +1°C to +35°C. Extreme cold or heat may interfere with proper function and lead to fire or explosion. Do not expose the watch to direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time. 2. Keep the device and accessories dry. Do not attempt to dry it with external heat source such as microwave oven or hair dryer. 3. Do not dispose of this watch or its parts with household garbage: follow local instructions and regulation for disposal. 8. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from: a) Normal wear and tear of the watch or parts of the watch. b) Batteries are subject to normal wear and tear. c) Any unauthorised disassembly, repair, alteration or modification being carried out. d) Defects and damages due to use other than in a normal and customary manner. e) Misuse, abuse, negligence or accident howsoever caused. f) Defects or damage due to spillage of food or liquids, corrosion, rust or the use of wrong voltage. g) Scratches or damage to the surfaces and all other externally exposed parts that are due to normal customer use. 6. This warranty will be null and void in any of the following events: a) If the serial number has been removed, altered or made illegible in any way. b) Damages caused by exposure to water or submersion into water. c) Without any proof of purchase. 7. Except for the express warranties set forth above, Smartwatcher grants no other warranties, express or implied, by statute or otherwise, regarding the product, fitness for any purpose or otherwise. To the extent permitted by local laws, Smartwatcher shall not be liable for the loss of use of the product, inconvenience, loss or any other consequential damage, arising out of the use of or inability to use the product or for breach of any express or implied warranty. 2. Getting Started To be able to use PEARL as watch with a emergency call button, you first must pair it with your smartphone. 1. Turn on your PEARL watch by pressing and holding the ON / OFF button ( ) for 3 to 5 seconds to start the watch. The SWAROVSKI digits light up briefly and the 2 o’clock position flashes a green light. 2. On your smartphone, go to “Settings”, „Bluetooth“ and turn on Bluetooth. 3. Now download the „SmartWatcher - Personal Safety” application ( App-Store / Google Play Store) for free on your smartphone and start the app. During the registration process, please ensure to grant permis- sion to access location services, push notifications and other App specific data. 1. Watch 3. Trigger an alert In order to trigger an alert, PEARL as well as your smartphone (on which the SmartWatcher app is installed) be turned on and the app must be open ANYTIME! In addition, the smartphone must be within a range of max. 5 meters to the watch. 1. To trigger an alarm, press and hold the ALARM button ( ) for 3 to 5 seconds. 2. The alarm led animation starts and the SWAROVSKI digits light up, the 2 o’clock position stays constantly red. 5. Important! 1 ON/OFF button Crown for time setting ALARM button 1 3 2 4. Go to the „Settings“. Under „Wearables“, you find the PEARL listed. Select it and then tap the blue “Connect” in the lower part of the screen. 5. Now select the „PEARL“ watch from the Bluetooth device list (usually starts with SW). 6. It need some seconds until the „pair request“ is displayed. Tap on pair. 7. If the pairing between smartphone and PEARL was success- ful, the word “Connected” is displayed on your smartphone under Settings, Bluetooth, my devices PEARL. If the connection was not successful, it will say „Not connected”. In this case, try again from point 4. 1. To stop an alarm, go to the „Watchers“ screen in the SmartWatcher app. There you see the red icon with „emergency call active“. Tap on it. 2. Tap to select the appropriate response to be sent to your helper(s). 3. The SWAROVSKI stones light up to signal that the alarm was ended and the light at 2 o’clock position turns blue. An alarm can also be triggered directly in the SmartWatcher app. Just press the blue icon at „Watchers” and this will turn red. Continue as described in „Triggering an alert” from point 2. The watch is equipped with 2 button cells batteries: 1. The small button cell (below the bigger) is for the time. If the watch stops indicating the correct time please bring it to an authorized service center or watch shop. 2. The large button cell (CR2330) supplies the emergency button function. In the box, you find a spare one in case you need to replace it. You can do this yourself: • Unscrew the 4 screws with the supplied screwdriver on the back and remove them. Keep the screws and the cover, e.g. in the lid of the box. Please be very carefully with the black sealing ring. It should remain in the housing since it guarantees waterproofing. • Replace the large button cell with the supplied spare one. • Place the cover on the button cell and re-tighten the 4 screws. 4. Go to the „Settings“. Under „Wearables“, you fi nd thePEARL listed. Select it and then tap the blue “Connect” in the lower part of the screen.
5. Now select the „PEARL“ watch from the Bluetooth device list (usually starts with SW).
6. It need some seconds until the„pair request“ is displayed. Tap on pair.
7. If the pairing between smartphone and PEARL was success-ful, the word “Connected” is displayed on your smartphone under Settings, Bluetooth, my devices PEARL. If the connection was not successful, it will say „Not connected”. In this case, try again from point 4.

2. InbetriebnahmeEin Alarm kann auch direkt in der SmartWatcher App ausgelöst werden. Drücken Sie einfach auf das blaue Symbol bei „Watchers“ und dies wird rot. Fahren Sie fort, wie unter „Auslösen eines Alarms“ (Punkt 2) beschrieben.
Die Uhr ist mit 2 Knopfzellen ausgestattet: 1. Die kleine Knopfzelle (unterhalb der Grossen) ist für die Uhrzeit. Wenn
die Uhr aufhört die korrekte Zeit anzuzeigen, bringen Sie diese bitte zu einem autorisierten Service-Center oder Uhrenfachgeschäft.
2. Die grosse Knopfzelle (CR2330) ist für die Notruff Funktion. Es ist eine Ersatzknopfzelle in der Lieferung enthalten und ein Wechsel ist nur notwendig, sollte diese leer sein.
Dies können Sie selber vornehmen:• Lösen Sie die 4 Schrauben mit dem mitge-
lieferten Schraubenzieher auf der Rückseite und entfernen diese. Bewahren Sie die Schrauben und die Abdeckung z.B. im Deckel der Schachtel. Bitte seien Sie sehr sorgfältig mit dem schwarzen Dichtungsring. Dieser sollte im Gehäuse bleiben, um eine Wasserabdichtung zu gewährleisten.
• Tauschen Sie die grosse Knopfzelle durch den Ersatz aus.• Legen Sie Abdeckung auf die Knopfzelle und ziehen die 4 Schrauben
wieder fest an.

7. Gewährleistung5. Wichtig zu beachten! Smartwatcher gewährt eine Gewährleistung in Übereinstimmung mit den
nationalen Gesetzten zum Verkauf von Verbrauchsgütern und garantiert, dass die Uhr bei normaler Nutzung innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit keine Material- oder Verarbeitungsmängel aufweist.
1. Die Gewährleistung dauert gemäss lokaler Gesetzgebung ab dem ursprünglichen Kaufdatum des Produktes vierundzwanzig (24) Monate für die Uhr und ist nur anwendbar, wenn die Uhr bei einem offi ziellen Händler in einem Mitgliedstaat der Europäischen Union, Island, Norwegen, Liech-tenstein oder der Schweiz gekauft wurde.
2. Während der Gewährleistungszeit, Smartwatcher oder ein Unter-nehmen aus dessen autorisiertem Servicenetzwerk können nach eigenem Ermessen das Produkt oder dazugehörige Teile reparieren oder ersetzen, sollte festgestellt werden, dass das Produkt/Teile defekt sind. Die Re-paratur oder der Ersatz beinhaltet möglicherweise die Verwendung von funktional gleichwertigen, überarbeiteten Einheiten. Alle ersetzten Teile gehen in das Eigentum von Smartwatcher über.
3. Sofern nicht im Widerspruch mit der lokalen Gesetzgebung, bleibt die Gewährleistung für das reparierte oder ersetzte Produkt/Teil für die verblei-bende Gewährleistungszeit bestehen.
4. Auf Anfrage von Smartwatcher kann der Kunde gebeten werden, denoriginalen Kaufbeleg mit Information zum Kaufdatum/-ort und Originalver-packung vorzuweisen.
Wenn diese Informationen nicht vorgelegt werden, unvollständig sind oder absichtlich unleserlich gemacht werden, behält sich Smartwatcher das Recht vor, den Gewährleistung-Service abzulehnen.5. Diese Gewährleistung gilt NICHT für folgendes:1) Normale Abnutzungserscheinungen (Verschleiss) der Uhr und des Zubehör. 2) Normale Abnutzungserscheinungen (Verschleiss) der Batterien.3) Defekte und Schäden aufgrund unsachgemässer Verwendung und Nichtbeachten der Nutzungshinweise. 4) Durchführung von nicht autorisierter Demontage, Reparatur, Änderung oder Modifi kation.5) Fehlbedienung, Missbrauch, Fahrlässigkeit oder Unfälle, unab- hängig der Ursache6) Defekte oder Schäden durch Verschütten von Flüssigkeiten, Essen, Korrosion, Rost oder Verwendung falscher Spannung7) Kratzer oder Beschädigungen der Oberfl ächen und alle anderen äusseren exponierten Teilen, die auf normale Kundengebrauch zurückzuführen sind.6. Diese Gewährleistung erlischt bei folgenden Fällen:a) Wenn die Seriennummer entfernt, verändert oder unleserlich gemacht wurdenb) Schäden durch Einwirkung von Wasser oder Eintauchen ins Wasser.c) Ohne Kaufbeleg.7. 6. Sicherheitsinformationen1. Setzen Sie Ihr Gerät oder Zubehör nicht extremer Hitze oder Kälte aus. Ideale Betriebsbedingungen sind +1°C bis +35°C. Extreme Kälte oder Hitze können die ordnungsgemässe Funktion beeinträchtigen und zu Feuer oder Explosion führen. Setzen Sie die Uhr nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
2. Halten Sie Uhr und Zubehör trocken. Versuchen Sie nicht, es mit externen Wärmequellen wie Mikorwelle oder Fön zu trocknen.
3. Entsorgen Sie die PEARL und das Zubehör nicht im Hausmüll. Folgen Sie den örtlichen Anweisungen und Vorschriften zur Entsorgung.

Um PEARL als Uhr mit einem Notrufknopf verwenden zu können, müssen Sie zuerst diese mit Ihrem Smartphone koppeln.
1. Schalten Sie Ihre PEARL ein, indem Sie den ON/OFF Knopf ( ) für 3 bis 5 Sekunden gedrückthalten. Die Uhr startet und die SWAROVSKI-Ziff ern leuchten kurz auf und die 2-Uhr-Positionblinkt grün.
2. Gehen Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone zu „Einstellungen“,„Bluetooth“ und schalten Sie Bluetooth ein.
3. Laden Sie jetzt kostenlos die Anwendung „SmartWatcher -Persönliche Sicherheit“ herunter ( App-Store/Google-Play-Store) auf Ihr Smartphone herunter und starten die App.
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie während des Registrierungs- prozesses sicherstellen, dass Sie den Zugriff auf Standortdienste, Push-Benachrichtigungen und andere App-spezifi sche Daten erlauben.
4. Gehen Sie zu den „Einstellungen“.Unter „Wearables“ fi nden Sie PEARL aufgeführt. Wählen Sie PEARL undtippen dann auf das blaue „Connect“im unteren Teil des Bildschirms.
5. Wählen Sie nun PEARL aus der Liste der Bluetooth Geräte aus(fängt normarlerweise mit SW an) 6. Möglicherweise müssen Sie sich einigeSekunden gedulden bis die Kopplungsan-forderung erscheint. Tippen Sie auf Koppeln.
7. Wenn die Kopplung zwischen Smartphone und PEARL erfolgreich war, wird auf dem Smartphone unter Einstellungen, Bluetooth, meine Geräte PEARL „Connected“ angezeigt. Wenn die Verbindung nicht erfolgreich war, wird „Nicht verbunden“ angezeigt. Versuchen Sie es nochmals von Punkt 4 aus.
3. Alarm auslösenUm einen Alarm auszulösen müssen die PEARL sowie Ihr Smartphone (auf welchem die SmartWatcher App installiert ist) eingeschaltet und die App muss JEDERZEIT geöff net sein! Zusätzlich muss sich das Smartphone in einer Reichweite von max. 5 Meter zur Uhr befi nden.
1. Um einen Alarm auszulösen, drücken und haltenSie den ALARM-Knopf ( ) für 3 bis 5 Sekunden.
2. Die Alarm-LED-Animation beginnt unddie SWAROVSKI-Ziff ern leuchten auf, die 2-Uhr-Position bleibt konstant rot.

1. Um einen Alarm zu beenden, gehen Sie zum Bildschirm „Watchers“ in der SmartWatcher App. Dort sehen Sie das rote Symbol mit „Notruf aktiv“ und tippen darauf.
2. Tippen Sie auf die entsprechende Antwort, die an Ihre Helfer gesendet werden soll.
3. Die SWAROVSKI-Steine leuchten auf, um zu signalisieren, dass der Alarm beendet wird. Die 2-Uhr-Position wird blau.
