GPS Vehicle Tracker with Camera
PT600
PT600 is a GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking device which is specially developed and designed for vehicle
real-time tracking and security. With superior GPS and GPRS modules, PT600 has good
sensitivity and stable performance. Especially, PT600 is well designed to work with LiveGTS, our
web-based tracking system, which is suitable for a company to establish their own tracking
platform to provide real-time tracking service to their customers or manage their fleet.

How to Login to FMS (Fleet Management System)
By browsing to
www.mellatech.com click Login link
and put your accessing details (Account and Password) on the login dialogue box as the picture
shown below.
In order to increase the safety of username in FMS system, it has case sensitive for username and password.

How to use Mellas - Live Vehicle Tracking System
Once you are granted access to the FMS (Fleet Management System), you will have different
features for the tracking and controlling of your fleets mechanism.
The main features are
MAP
REALTIME
HISTORY
REPORT
MANAGE

MAP:
Map features helps to browse map freely and have option to put Longitude and Latitude data and
will locate the exact location for you on the map. MAP features also can be used to convert the
information you get from the tracking device via SMS to map to know the exact location of the
vehicle.

REALTIME
As its name suggests live mapping plots the real time locations of your assets against a road or
satellite map of the area they are situated. Real-time includes the following option.
- GeoFence Allows you to set a digital fence around a point of interest like your home, work
or city. This tells you when your vehicle enters and leaves the set perimeter.

Click the Geo fence link
-Select New Geo Fence button
- -Select the vehicle you want to track from the Traker ID list. See STEP 1
- -Put the name you want to name for the Geo Fence alert. See STEP 2
Eg. Addis Ababa area,
- -Select Range from Map to make a geo fence for that tracker. See STEP 3
- -Choose options for Valid when icon either when Enter, Leave or Enter or
Leave this range to activate the alarm. See STEP 4
- -Enable or Disable as per your interest for the State mode. See STEP 5
- -On Alarm mode icon select Alarm once if trigger (suggest). See STEP 6

- SPEED ALARM
You can set a specific speed and will send you alert when the vehicle exceeds that
speed limit. Get a notification on your phone, text message or email and know your
drivers are safe!!
- Click New Speed Alarm button.
- Select Vehicle (Tracker ID) from the list. See Step 1.
- On Name option (Step 2) you can put the title / name you want to name the Alert
like Speed >80km/hr Alarm.
- On Alarm when option selects the Speed limit you want to set. See Step 3.
- On State icon select Enable or Disable to activate the alarm mode ON or Off. See
Step 4.
- On Alarm Mode select Alarm once if trigger (suggest) or can choose Keep Alarm if
Trigger. See Step 5

- UPDATE POSITION Updates or refreshes your screen so you look the updated movement for your fleet
on the screen. Click the update position easily to refresh the screen.
- STOP ENGINE These features will stop the engine gradually for health and safety reasons in case
of vehicle theft or misusing the vehicle.
- SEND COMMAND Using SMS command you can change the configuration of your GPS tracker or know
the current status of the vehicle.
Click on the Send Command icon
Select the Tracker ID you want to send the command.
E.g. RCP it means Request Current Position.
Password is 000000(Six Zeros)
Please refer to SMS Command List for further information.

HISTORY
You can select a vehicle you want to track and time to playback history foot print. History data
can be saved to KML file, Excel File, CSV and PDF file.
Click History button from the main page.
- Select Tracker ID shown on the picture below. See Step 1.
- Feed the date and time you want to see the history from the dialogue box on
Step 2. Once you finish filling the date and time then click on the Search button and
the data will displayed at the left corner with a details like data, time, Longitude,
Latitude and Speed.
- Press the Play / Stop History button and will show you the status of the vehicle
you choose on that particular time you want. If the vehicle was moving on that
time, then you will see it moving on the map with the details mentioned above.
To Increase the play back interval time click the + (Add) button and to Reduce the
play back interval time click (Minus) button.
- If you want to save the history into your hard disk, press the Save to KML button
and will give you option to save in different format. See Step 4.

- REPORT
Reports are a key feature of any tracking system. Reports provide historic data and
analysis of vehicles movements within a specific date range. Below are some
examples of the most common/popular reports available on tracking applications:
The first step will be choosing the Report type you want to generate from the list
on the left hand corner.
- Then select the Tracker ID / Vehicle from the list shown on picture above. See Step
1.
- Choose the period you want to generate the report. See Step 2 above.
- Select the report type on Step 3 to filter the data from the rest. This option will help
us with categorizing the exact report to generate.
- Press the Search button and will display you all the report on a table or chart type
mode depends on your request.
- If you want to save the file for future reference, then press Save to File button
and will save the data in different formats.

MANAGE
This feature is specially designed for the fleet manager to amend, add or delete any information on
his Fleet system. Manage option will give you the feature like
Tracker Config
Helps you with features like amending or deleting vehicle description,
Drivers Name, Tracker Image and others more.
Modify Password
You can rest your password anytime to avoid any unauthorized users.
My Account
Inform you with your account details and Time Zone to adjust if required.
Email Setting
You can add, delete or amend any email contact list for the purpose of
any report sent from the GPS tracker

SMS COMMAND LIST

Set preset phone number
For SOS button SOS, SOS Number: Preset phone

then will send SMS and then call to this first number after
pressing SOS button. If set the 2nd or 3rd numbers too,
will send SMS to all 3 numbers, only call to the 1st
number after pressing SOS button.
Set time zone difference TMZ TMZ=Time Zone
Time from -13 to 13
Example: 000000TMZ8

For operate safely, please refer to following simple guidelines:
Safe Driving: Drivers should not operate this device while driving.
Qualified Service: Only qualified person can install or repair the vehicle tracker unit.
Water Resistance: PT600 is not water resistance. Keep it dry. Install it inside the vehicle.
Confidential Phone Number: For safety reason, dont tell other people the SIM card number of
your PT600 without taking precautions of security settings.
GPS communication is liable to be affected by environmental shielding; may fail to carry out
positioning during certain circumstances. It will resume the positioning function as soon as it
leaves the shielding environment. This is normal. Please do not worry when encountering such
problem.
Each signal sent out from the system will be confirmed for successful transmission in the base
station of the mobile operator. However, if system stoppage occurs or if the mobile telephone is
preset to a switch off state by the customer, it cannot ensure successful transmission.
