User Help Manual for SHEDS - Loco Failure Analysis Module

Login to RDSO Motive Power Website as described below:

Main Page of RDSO Motive Power Website

Enter the User Name and Password as provided to you by RDSO.

In case you don’t have the Username and Password contact on the Support Number

provided below the login box.

On successful login the software will welcome and display the name of the Shed on

the top of page.

Main Menu will be displayed along with the name of the different modules of the

Software.

Click on the Menu “LOCO FAILURE ANALYSIS”

This will take you to the Loco Failure Analysis Software Module.

This will again have 4 menus specific to the Failure Analysis Software.

1. Fill Failure Investigation Detail of Punctuality Cases.

2. Fill Failure Investigation Detail of other than Punctuality Cases.

3. Failure Investigation Detail of Punctuality Cases Filled by Diesel Sheds.

4. Failure Investigation Detail of other than Punctuality Cases

Main Menu of Loco Failure Analysis Module

The Sheds have to fill the Loco Failure Analysis data as desired by RDSO.

RDSO will send details for Loco failed to get the desired details from sheds.

All the cases send by RDSO will be listed in the grid.

In order to fill & send the data by sheds click on the “Fill data” at the end of the column.

The form has different sections with serial numbers.

Each field is to be filled like Loco details, Schedule particulars, failure details, Shed

investigations, defects in material if any, reports and photographs can be attached and

classification of failure as per RDSO parameters.

Four Digit classification code will open other from in which the shed has to select the cause

of failure for HHP / ALCO from the menus. There will be four levels of selections and a grid is

displayed to select a Check Box for code selection.

The Shed can fill and Save the data and then finally submit it to RDSO by pressing the Send

button.

The Shed can also generate the report in PDF format.

The previously submitted data can be retrieved from the report section.

Click on “Failure Investigation Details of Punctuality Filled by Diesel Sheds” to view the

previous data submitted by Sheds to RDSO

Select the date from and date to fetch the data submitted to RDSO & press VIEW DATA link.
