Step 1 : Employee receives email notification that Mid Year Assessment has started. To start, click
on URL link in the email to access the online mid year assessment form
.

Step 2 : At the login screen, enter username (example: [email protected]) and
password. Click on Log In button

Step 3 : Review your goals set at beginning of Financial Year.
If changes are needed, approach your Appraiser 1 to Un-Approve Goals online
For instructions to edit goals, see “Part 3: Process to edit goals (if required)”

Step 4 : If no changes to be made to your goals, you can proceed to input Mid-Year
Achievements for each goal. Provide overall comments for Mid-Year Competencies and
Achievements. Indicate On-Track or Off-Track.
Scroll to the end of the page and click Submit. Click Submit again to confirm email notification to
be sent to your Appraiser 1, Appraiser 2 & Matrix Manager (If applicable) . If you would like to
submit the form later, click Save and Close instead.

Step 5: After submitting, you will be brought to My Forms - Inbox.
Click on your name on top right hand and click Log out.

Step 1 : Once the employee submits the completed mid year self assessment, Appraiser 1 will
receive email notification that Employee’s Mid-Year Assessment requires action.
To proceed, click on URL link in the email to access the online Mid-Year Assessment form
.

NOTE:
Once employee submits the completed mid year self assessment, Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager will receive
similar email notifications to input their comments, if they wish. This is an optional step.
Note that Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager will not be able to complete and submit their comments if Appraiser 1
clicks on ‘submit’ button before their action.

Step 3b : Before the 1-1 discussion with employee, Appraiser 1 should complete his/her portion on
employee’s mid-year achievements: provide On-Track/ Off-Track assessment, Mid-Year comments and
what employee has ‘Done Well’ and ‘Can Do Better’.
Appraiser 1 should discuss employee’s performance with Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager(if applicable).
Select Yes that you have discussed with Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager. Click Save and Close.
Meet up with Employee on 1-1 basis to provide constructive feedback for year-to-date performance.

Step 3c : After 1-1 conversation with your employee, edit your comments (as necessary).
Click Submit. Click Submit again to confirm email notification to be sent to Employee, Appraiser 1, Appraiser
2 and Matrix Manager.

Note : Ensure that Appraiser 2 & Matrix Manager comments are entered before Appraiser 1 submits the form.
Otherwise Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager will not be able to put in comments.

Once employee submits the completed mid year self assessment, Appraiser 2 and Matrix Manager will
receive similar email notifications to input their comments, if they wish. This is an optional step.
After discussion, access online form to provide Overall Mid-Year Comments. Click Save and Close.

Note : Ensure that your comments are entered before Appraiser 1 submits the form. Otherwise, you will not
be able to put in your comments.

Step 1 : At the login screen, enter Manager username (example: [email protected]) and
password. Click on Log In button
.
General note: During Mid-Year Review, employees goals that were approved previously might
require amendments. Appraiser 1 needs to Un-Approve and subsequently Approve goals by
accessing the employee’s goal plan.
Note: Only Appraiser 1 have the rights to un-approve submitted goals

Step 2 : At Home Page below, click HOME, then GOALS.

Step 3 : Check that you are looking at the correct Goal Plan for the correct year.
Step 4: Click drop down box to search for your employee’s name or type in the search bar. Click
on the name and you will be able to see the employee’s goals

Step 5 : Click on Un-Approve and notify the employee. No automated email notification will be
sent when goals are un-approved.
Note : Ensure that the goals total weightage are maintained in accordance to the requirements.

General note: Once your Appraiser 1 (EM1) has un-approved goals online, follow the steps
below to update goals and send back to Appraiser 1 for approval.
Step 1a : Employee Log in to system via URL:

From Home page, click on Home > Goal

Step 1b : Ensure you are in the Correct FY Goal Plan. Click on Action icon beside the specific goal
to edit, view or delete it. Note : Ensure that overall weightages are maintained.
Save Changes as required. Submit your goals.
Inform your Appraiser 1 so he/she can access the system to approve the updated goals

Step 1c : After your Appraiser has approved your updated goals, you may proceed with mid year
assessment. Log in to the system, click on Mid-Year Self Assessment under To Do on the home
page.
