WebPA User Group Meeting Programme Tuesday 16th December, 2008 Aston Business School Conference Centre WebPA’s first official user group meeting, for our broad and valued community of existing academic users, potential adopters and technical implementers from across the UK. The aim of this 'invite only' event is to further develop and build our community of users, focusing on both current and long term issues. Academics, learning technologists and other technical staff, involved in the implementation or embedding of WebPA in their institutions, are all invited. The programme addresses community building, future developments and the sustainability of WebPA in your institution, as well as inviting input from participants. 11:45 – 12:30 Supporting a community of users

Short presentations on the ‘nature’ of an open source community followed by discussion and ideas for building a flourishing community

12:30 – 13:30 Lunch 13:30 – 14:55 Parallel sessions for IT and Academics

Two parallel streams focussing on specific needs. Tailored in response to morning sessions but to cover topics such as:

• Aspects of Effective Practice • Embedding the use of WebPA at your Institution • Working practices related to IT Implementation Issues

14:55 – 15:15 Break 15:15 – 15:45 New Features in WebPA 1.0.0.3
