Objectives

• How technology can complement the clinical/bedside teaching

• How to use the clinical skill lab for clinical skills teaching

• What are the new technologies available to enhance bedside teaching

Recommendations

• To increase the usage of models in the clinical skills labs, to make teaching more attractive and understandable

• A formal allotment in the timetable dedicated to use the models in order to comprehend the pathophysiology of the disease and enhance clinical skills

Recommendations

• Simple quiz at the end of the time spent in the clinical skills lab

• To have a computer dedicated to the clinical skills lab, having different videos/DVD on clinical examination and communication skills

• To increase student-teacher communication by developing an interactive website
