INTRODUCTION
Acute effect of HIIT are unknow
The aim of this research was to analyze organic acute response in well trained swimmers studying parameters of lactate, heart rate, heart rate variability, isometric strength of arms, rating of perceived exertion and fatigue of central nervous system in a HIT session.

METHODS
14 trained swimmers (16.2±2.6 years, 169.1±10.2 cm, 61.3±9.9 kg)
Pre-Post HIIT session 4x10m/90” + 16x25m/30“

DISCUSSION
The stimulation of anaerobic lactic system causes a higher increase in the lactic tolerance than other traditional methods
Not produce CNS fatigue, short intervals and short rest
Warbuton et al, 2005

DISCUSSION
Large sympathetic nervous system activation and cardiovascular response
Basic for adaptations
Use of biotechnological devices are basic to know organic response and to organice an efficient training
