Farming Neighborhoods With Facebook • Create a flyer announcing the new community page and get them
passed out to the neighborhood (pay a local kid $20 and they will put your flyer on every door in the neighborhood)
• You can use Power Point to create these flyers. Let me know if you need help with. I will be glad to show you how.
Farming Neighborhoods With Facebook • Create a Post card and mail to the entire neighborhood
Farming Neighborhoods With Facebook • As you get people in the neighborhood to like the page, start creating
engagement with them Post pictures of cool stuff in the neighborhood and ask questions
“Who is going to be down at the lake this weekend?”
Farming Neighborhoods With Facebook • When you get new listings in the neighborhood, post them on the
page (others looking to sell will see you are active)
• Offer advise and referrals when the opportunity arises For example: If someone posted “Hey does anyone know a good tree guy”, look up one for them and post the information
• Be friendly and communicative on the page to let people get to know you
Farming Neighborhoods With Facebook • This strategy is about using the Social aspect of Facebook to generate
Trust within your Farm Area. • This strategy brands you as someone who cares about the
neighborhood and is deeply entrenched in helping it be a close community
• You wont need to sell yourself here. By being engaging, people will seek to know you (that’s why you use your Real Estate website in the about section)
