OneWallet Ticket Issuance Process

Customer registers with the Ticketing Services Provider for issue and Redemption of electronic tickets. A Card which may be used for issuance and use will be downloaded on the Consumer’s OneWallet.

To purchase a ticket, the user invokes the application by opening the wallet and selecting the “ticket” icon.

The user inputs information required for the ticket.... details may be different for different Issuers - Cinema House, Railway or Airline ticket, etc. For an Airline ticket for instance, the user will have to feed in the Origin, Destination, Flight Number, Date, Class, etc.

QneWallet Ticket Redemption Process

Manual System OneWallet user approaches the counter and displays

ticket details to the person manning the counter.

The counter manager manually enters all ticket details in his/her system. The person also adds other inputs/

selections if required.

The system validates all details and provides the user with a paper ticket / pass/ boarding card as applicable.

Automated System OneWallet user approaches the counter and beams

ticket details to the infra-red / rf terminal at the counter.

Ticket information is communicated to the central system which validates the user and ticket details.

The operaor enters other details that may be required - such as seat number, special requests, etc. depending

on the domain. This step is not required in several situations,

completely automating the redemption process.

The system generates a paper ticket / pass/ boarding card as applicable.
