The 65+ age segment is forecasted to

grow nearly three times faster than the

overall U.S. population during this

decade (2.8 percent vs. 0.95 percent).

The size of this segment will expand

from 40 million in 2010 to over 55

million by 2020.

Almost half of the population growth

this decade will be driven by this age

segment.
